Yale Research 0
i asume id have to travel to Conn?Im in NYIn many cases, travel expenses can be reimbursed and the amount paid for participation in our studies usually adds up to between 20 and $25/hour. I know this sounds like a pathetic amount to some people. We would love to offer more. Unfortunately, funding for research on the neurological processes involved in gambling is way more limited than, for example, cancer research. However, our research on gambling is still important. Much like alcohol, gambling can be enjoyed by many without negative outcomes while others may become hooked to it in ways that can resemble alcohol addiction and cause various problems in one's life. Understanding how the brains of gamblers work will enable us to help those who do develop problems with gambling. Please let anyone who gambles frequently or who has in the past know that we are always looking for research participants. Anyone wanting info can contact me at jdb92@email.med.yale.eduThanks. Sincerely, jen

Sincerely, jenI don't think I'd be a very good control subject for this study. When I'm gambling, I also drink heavily, smoke, play demonic music, surf the net for porn, and have several loaded fire arms within close proximity. And don't even get me started with the half naked teenage girls romping around everywhere.
