I read an interview with Barry Greenstein once where he said that he doesn't play his "normal game" on HSP and he saves "a few special moves" for non-tv games so that future opponents don't get a read on his style.Also Chip Reese's best game is Stud not holdem so maybe that might be a contributing factor too. So far away.I wish they would keep updates on how much everybody is up and down each show. Like on PAD or any other tournament for that matter. Mainly because they rarely play NLHE in the big game. Also, I'm sure all the big game players are constantly changing their games because they know each other so well. Please re-watch PAD for Allen Cunningham vs. John Juanda heads-up match. Turn up the volume on your TV and you can hear the waitresses snoring and mice mating under the floorboards.Of course, they did toss Jesus in there last season for no real reason, so who knows. Allen certainly has the cash to play. We need an Allen Cunningham fanboi to jump in here to remind us that Allen's on ESPN so much with WSOP coverage that he doesn't need the extra exposure, anyways. He wasn't much of a "personality" at a table that had Tony G and Mike Matusow on it.HSP seems to be getting some steam more as the "poker player's poker show" now and kinda rallying behind that so I would think they would begin to start caring more about the quality of play behind the player rather than just throwing Jaime Gold out there or whatever.Jaime Gold still has one of my favorite quotes from the WSOP last year when he flopped a straight I think against someone and another guy said how the deck is hitting him the face or whatever and he's like "But I'm playing really well too, it's hard to beat someone who's playing really well AND getting cards"...or something.
