  1. Pokerplayer,Try running better. And the 10/20 graph turned me on.
  2. Remove results to avoid ROB.Post in NL forum for good advice.Reload pre-flop.
  3. That's too hard for me. I always want to see how much I won/lost, but I think it will be a process. As I keep playing more and more hands, hopefully short term variance will become less fun to note. You can hide the $ in your account by overlapping it with more tables. I know that I can't see anything when I'm in full gear. Also, this is at 2/4, so about $400. Hotbacon, I know I've said this before, but I think you should stop playing so many hands and tables. You don't want to burnout.I also agree with your signature. This is how I play all my pocket pairs.
  4. Running good feels good. Probably one of my bigger days in terms of BB because I always quit my sessions so I can book wins. Yea, I know I'm a *****, but I've got beer $$$$$$$$!!!!!!
  5. Get even!!!!!As for the river, I'm a little apprehensive to bet. SB has basically telegraphed a draw that he didn't want to get rid of, and at 10/20 I don't think this will often be a draw to anything but the nut flush. The pot is huge so you are forced to call a raise despite not wanting to, so I think checking is ok. There aren't a large amount of weaker hands that will call a bet either.
  6. I think Zach handled this, but I'm just going to stress it. In NL, you can stack people. In FL, you can't just stack the donkey, you have to exploit little things in terms of bets. It's still poker, meaning you are still profiting off of other's mistakes, but in limit it's done one bet at a time, rather than a huge bet or stack at a time like in NL.
  7. What the **** is with you all? This guy had a legitimate question, don't freaking crucify people if they don't use the correct forum or some ****. Regardless of what you all think, the world does not explode if a post is put in the wrong forum. If it's something less serious, fine, but your life priorities shouldn't include logging onto an internet forum to see if everyone is posting in the proper place. Do you all yell at old people that J walk too? Get lives, please.
  8. I thought I'd add my comments here since I was affected by this hack as well. The total damage from my experience was $816. Since I blocked my bank account as soon as I saw this transaction, they deducted the money from my Neteller account, and since I don't keep money in there this basically put my balance at -$816. After a couple weeks of correspondence, I received a call from an operator from the investigation team that I was working with. Throughout this whole duration of time they had been waiting on a return email from one of the sites that the money was dumped to. They had set that d
  9. Hand 1 is awful. Even if he's going overaggro this wasn't the best spot to pick. I sometimes call this, sometimes fold. Post-flop though, you should fold to the flop check/raise.Hand 2 is good.Hand 3 I'd raise the flop. This puts a lot of his hands in a tough spot on the flop outright, sets up turn fold equity, and makes the hand very easy to play.Hand 4 looks ok considering your read of the villain.
  10. I guess my post was too ambiguous. I'm saying you should be calling the turn in this case since the 4 helps your hand. If the turn does not give you more outs, then you should fold.
  11. I'd pull the trigger on the river. You should fold the turn UI but since you improved in this case the rest of the hand looks peachy.
  12. At 1/2 I think this should be a raise. Often it will be a draw, and sometimes a dubious one (like an ace high draw). I'd fold to a three-bet, and if he donks the turn I'd be inclined to call down on most turn cards to see what he's got, also expecting to win enough to profit.
  13. Yep. The king is an awful card, and with this board you will find yourself reverse dominated a lot. Pot is also kinda small at the point that we get check/raised. If they start check/raising habitually, then we can show 'er down to keep him straight.
  14. I could see myself three-betting 77.Are you folding or cold-calling? Or are you three-betting but stating that 88 is your borderline? There's only one limper. Also, it doesn't necessarily matter if we enter the pot at an equity deficit as long as we anticipate to make it up post-flop. With position, initiative, and a hand with good visibility, this should be an easy three-bet. It's also possible that the TAG is isolating the limper, which means his hand range should be wider. That said, it still puts us maybe slightly behind at hot and cold equity, but he's often folding either the flop o
  15. Suited_Up is right, the politicians could not care less about what any of us have to say.I've sent my representative numerous letters about this and I have recieved the very same form letter everytime. This isn't just true of my representatives, as almost everyone that has sent a congressman a letter on 2+2 has experienced the same problem.Edit: I just noticed the letter being sent to eBay, and I think it's kinda cool. I don't have an account personally, but if enough people could get together and boycott it, it could possibly create a ripple, or at least turn an eyebrow.
  16. A lot of his two pair hands beat us already, and the ones that don't are going to be hard pressed to call this river. I just think that too often we are value betting with the worst hand.I did some stoving and gave the villain a typical three-betting range of 77+,A8s+,K9s+,QTs+,JTs,ATo+,KJo+,QJo. With this range, we are losing almost 88 percent of the time, and the combos need to be weighted towards the stronger end of the spectrum since this villain isn't sticking around with a lot of the hands that we beat.Edit: I just read your analysis Tim, and it makes sense. This would mean that we s
  17. I think Screech nailed this.Another reason we might hold off from raising the flop is because we figure to typically fold a lot of his hands, since he's leading this flop with pretty much anything. We're also inducing him to bluff to the river, which is huge for us, since we are playing this hand like a draw.
  18. I like checking pre-flop. Edge isn't very big and you get more return on your money postflop since keeping the pot small allows your opponents to really **** up.
  19. 88 shouldn't be borderline at all, three-bet it pre-flop like it's your job when you are in position and there's a somewhat reasonable chance of getting it HU. There are probably 4-5 hands every couple thousand or so that warrant cold-calling pre-flop rather than folding or three-betting, so I'm suspecting that you are doing it way too much if 88 is one of your borderline cold-calling hands. That alters how the hand plays out significantly, but given that you cold-called, you played it fine. I can't see many worse hands paying you off, and it's highly likely that your villain missed a draw or
  20. I could probably play a single table pretty well while high, but definitely not 4+. It's easier to focus in on something when high, but it's definitely limited. Also, lol at the person who suggested to play while on Salvia. You'll be lucky to actually know what you are doing and what's going on when you play.
  21. I think this is an easy call pre-flop, even against a tightish UTG raiser. Flop and turn are standard, but I tend to c/c these rivers unless I can b/f comfortably (i.e. against a typical calling station/donk)As played I think you should fold.
  22. I think you can call the river in hand one if SBs capable of playing a draw this way.Hand 2 looks fine.
