  4. Just curious to see what everyones opinion is on how much these guy are worth?I have no clue and was wondering if anyone had any insight on this subject. You think DN is worth over 10 million?
  5. A good rule of thumb is Pokerstars pays out about the top 10%. I only play in the 55 MTT and up because I cant stand playing with more than 500 people in a tourney.
  6. I believe the match was postponed untill tomorrow
  7. I saw Spiderman made it to the final table of a big event....I have never seen Affleck do anything
  8. Im 24 and have lived in vegas already twice since I have turned 21. For all those young guys moving out there be very careful, its a tough city. The first time I moved out there was right after I turned 21 with my g/f and that is definately not a good idea. The second time I stayed longer and attended UNLV. Although I have never played poker in las vegas I was a regular at the suncoast casino and became well know amoung the players and the employees ( by the way dont bang the girls that work at the casinos that the casino manager is interested in.....very bad idea). I thought I could beco
  9. I see Ivey is now the current chip leader. Is it me or has he been on a roll lately, it seems he is making final tables on a regular basis. With the WSOP less than a month away I would have to favor Ivey to be the WSOP player of the year. He seems to be on top of his game and I think he has more drive to become the best than anyone else. Also I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could find odds on who will win the events at this years WSOP. I think I will take a few months off of playing poker and just bet Ivey on to win each event. Mabye he can make some money for me too !!!!
  10. What Stu accomplished by winning 3 WSOP main events in amazing. If the guy had stayed clean all those years who knows what he could have accomplished. If we are talking about the most talented player it would have to be stu. When he died his life or poker career wasnt close to being over. I honestly belive there that his standard of 3 wins will never be touched and considering his life ended way before his time and most of those years he was all coked up. Its a shame what he did and I hope its a lesson for everyone......what could have been
  11. I came in 5th place in a 162 tourney on pokerstars and raked in 3366
  12. is this the website for the new wynn resort? It is taking forever to upload and I was wondering if I can acess the new place any other ways .Thanks
  13. I was just curious what a good % is for tournament winnings. I have been playing online for around 13 months and I have spent around 4700 in tournaments and have won just over 10,000. so would this be A B C...????
  14. the blinds were 20,000 - 40,000. ramco raised around 230,00 and dudley33 calls leaving ramco with 23,000 in chips. the flop comes A J and something like a 3. ramco puts his last 23,000 in chips in and dudley33 folds.....the pot was like 500,000 and it only cost dudley33 23,000 to call and he had a few million in chips....then buster tells lee jones that he has seen both the same players do this before at another final table...just very odd
  15. this is crazy.....ramco raises everything except 20,000 and Dudley33 calls....the pot is 500,000 and dudley33 folds after the flop...Buster is going crazy and its all messed up...go check it out
  16. Just wondering why Gus Hansen would play in a 215 tournament on pstars? I cant imagine that he would take it seriously, I guess that is why he finished in 1136 place.
  17. Tonight I was playin in a 109 NLH tournament and there were 94 people left out of a field of 294. I have around 4500 in chips and pick up AA. The blinds are 100-200 and I raise 600 and the next guy reraises 2400 and then the guy after him goes all in for about 5000. So obviosly I call and they have 99 and KK........no help on the flop or turn....9 on the river...busted. That would have put me in 3rd place with 93 to go and the winner gets 8,000. Its so hard shaking off these bad beats. Any advice for trying to think clearly again?
  18. QQ....thats a great spot to get all your chips in the middle
  19. I currently live in ohio and I will actually be in Columbus tomorrow. I am planning to be heard on my opionion about gambling in ohio when they have their meeting. I lived in Las Vegas and I am going to speak on the Local Casinos in Vegas and my experience there. We definatley need some casionos in ohio. I think it would benefit our state a great deal
  20. The odds of being dealt any pp could be 16 to 1. But the odds of a certain pp are 220 to 1
  21. I think the question was what are the odds of two people have AA in the same hand. You said the odds are 135 to 1 if you have AA that someone else has AA. You are already taking into consieration that someone already has AA so your figures are way off. The odds of having a pocket pair are 220 to 1 or something like that. So the odds of two people having AA have to be enormous
  22. I was recently in a 55 NLH tournament with around 400 players. There are 17 left and i was stting nice in 4th place. The blinds are 400-800 and the guy in front of me went all in with about 8,000 in chips. I am on the button and have QQ with about 32,000 in chips. The guy in the small blind has 12,000 so Im not worried about him but the big blind is in 2nd place with 38,000 in chips. Im definatley not going to fold with QQ and I was didnt want to limp in and just call becasue the BB might have put me on a week hand and went all in. So I decide to just go all in and it comes to the BB and
  23. I have only had AA while another player has had AA one time in my life and he won with a flush
  24. I started playing poker in March of 2004 and I recently had pokerstars send me my tournament results since I opened my account in March of 2004. I have bought in for 4,434 and have won 9,673.26 producing a net profit of 4,865.26. I have played in tournaments as small as $3 and as big as $162, and I have won most of my money in the bigger tournaments most likely because I find that I cant concentrate on the smaller buy ins ($10-20). I have never read any books on poker and I was wondering if these results are any good and if anyone could offer me advice on taking poker more seriously and to
