  5. What about him? He's not leaving Pittsburgh.I don't think so either. But the two names that I have heard from multiple sources were Weight and Recchi.I know he has alot of roots in Pitt, and he probably wants to retire there...The flyers need to get someone along those lines though.
  6. How can the thread be official if Borgata isn't even spelled right? :?
  7. Damnit.Primeau is still hurt. And now the flyers can't make good on the Weight rumor.Anyone seen Recchi?
  8. all i know is:DN:"bloody hell, I was in walking right by Rittenhouse at exactly the same time. I could have asked you for money or something"
  9. I'm sure its a good deal.If I played more than I currently do, I'd buy for sure, given that I didn't feel like programming my own.
  10. I actually wrote a crude console app to crunch the numbers. If i wasn't cheap, i'd do it.
  11. if its a $5 full tilt sng, first = 22.5, second = 13.5, and third = 9.total of $45evFOLD = $8.61evPUSH = $9.28there is an actual $ difference of $0.67.You are passing up on almost 70 cents by folding here.Imagine the difference involved at a 100 sng.evFOLD = $172.35evPUSH = $186.21PUSH!
  12. check my sig for much higher rates... only on prima though
  13. sngPT is pretty legit. If you aren't up for paying the $80, then here's what you need to do:www.pokerstove.comdownload that.http://sharnett.bol.ucla.edu/ICM/ICM.htmlbookmark that.A brief intro to ICM.ICM (independent chip model) is a calculation used to determine probabilities of certain finishes in a tournament, given chipstacks. If you want to know how it works, the google is your friend. Its not really relevant right here.Anyway...In a situation in a SnG (mainly the later stages.. 5 handed and below.) you can use this model to determine the proper action in a push/fold scenario. This is ma
  14. yea foxwoods daily tournaments are all like that too...full of donks and horrendous players, but if you dont get many cards it makes it tough. If you can get a stack after 2 hours or so, and win a couple races, its pretty easy to make good money, but the amount of skill involved in the tourney as a whole is not very high.there is alot of skill in short stacked tournaments.get an ICM calculator and burn the felt!
  15. How can you argue against prohibition of marijuana, yet argue for prohibition/regulation of unhealthy foods? Marijuana is, most certainly, unhealthy-- just like bad foods. That doesn't mean that EITHER should be regulated by big brother.I believe anyone should be able to use all of the marijuana and trans fats that they want... wouldn't you agree?
  16. full tilt does have a good structure, but if you play sngs full time, it might be a bit slow. they actually take so long to complete that it hurts my hourly winrate. I do, however, like the cash games so i deal with it.
  17. Looks fine i guess.I don't like c/ring here because it screams strength... but so does c/c and betting.meh.nh.
  18. the pf raise makes little to no sense to me.is this standard for that table?Actually, if this is live at a casino, i might like it. I have been in 1/2 games at borgata where the avg opener was 20.
  19. He could have ALOT of hands that you beat here, namely trips, two pair, or a straight. This is a pretty easy raise IMO.
  20. On second thought, custom, I'd say that NWP serves its purpose quite well. It is meant to be just what it is... a circus.RGP, on the other hand, could greatly benefit from separate forums. A "spouting off" style area, separated from strategy, and fanboy forums (which are often combined in General here) would cut back on the noise significantly.
  21. I'm not saying that moderation isn't necessary. I feel that a minimal amount, however (i.e. the earlier days of this forum) is much better. I would definately say that when people are flat out begging for regulation in every thread, that it is more than minimal.I think its really an inherent flaw in online communities, which have no population boundaries. For a forum to remain useful, with minimal regulation, the amount of members would have to be restricted... and then we go back to the idea of too much restriction again.its quite a paradox.I'm really just bitching because I don't like whe
  22. I didn't read the thread, and its probably not even worth it...but I think that the REAL problem at this forum is that people crave censorship for some reason. I never saw censorship as a good thing, and I really don't see how anyone does. I guess i'm just a rare libertarian amongst a bunch of fundies.
  23. ok.. i really wasn't too sure about it.but now i know.thanks guys
