  1. Bet. Your fold equity is high here if he missed. He isn't raising with anything other than a J or Q and if you check he will surely bet.
  2. 30% to $150 @ UB running now. I must say, I do love their 2/4 shorthanded games:Ultimate Bet 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is SB with K:diamond:, A:spade:. 2 folds, Hero calls.Flop: (10 SB) K:club:, A:club:, 5:diamond: (2 players)Hero bets, Hero calls.Turn: (9 BB) 8:spade: (2 players)Hero bets, Hero calls.River: (17 BB) A:heart: (2 players)Hero bets, Hero calls.Final Pot: 25 BBResults:Button has J:club: T:club: (one pair, aces). Hero has K:diamond: A:spade: (full house, aces full of kings). Outcome: Hero wins 25 BB.
  3. You have typical new player stats. Better than most since you are actually fairly tight. Anyways, you aren't nearly aggressive enough. Your PF raise should be more around 8-10% and your aggression shuld be more around 2-2.5 on all streets.
  4. Wow... I live poker always like this?
  5. Unless someone knows you will do this everytime. Of course at 1/2 that won't be the case.
  6. When you multi-table shorthanded games it happens.
  7. Beats my misclick PF cap with 96o. That sucks.
  8. Do you think UTG is dumb enough to open limp with QQ or JJ?
  9. Easy raise PF. If you aren't going to raise the flop raise the damn turn. And yea, reading the 2+2 short handed posts are just about the best advice you will get on playing short handed.
  10. well then!wrto can probably give you better help on your SH #sbut hes probably going to see 570 hands and close the page. This wasn't a serious stats post. Just an anti-bad beat post. But yes, these are pretty LAG like stats even for shorthanded.
  11. Forgot to mention, this was shorthanded. 4-6 handed usually. And yes, I know this isn't sustainable. My long terms stats are more like VPIP 23, overall AF 2.86, PFR 15%.
  12. I had a string of 570 really nice hands. But no, my long term stats are no where near this.
  13. Isn't it nice when variance works the other way too? BTW, this was at 6-max tables (which were usually 4-6 handed).
  14. Without variance (including bad beats) the fish wouldn't think they can actually win.
  15. Wow, nice man. How much you win? This is how my last MTT went:Buy in is $20. I pick up ATs 3 off the button. 1 limper and I raise to 3x BB. BB calls, initial limper goes all-in. Both me and BB fold. Two hands later. I pick up AJo on the button. Folded to me and I raise to 3xBB again (about 20BB left). SB calls and the BB who goes all-in (same person as last). He has me covered by a small amount. Since I've seen this guy make this move a couple times before I call. SB folds. BB has KJo and hits a K on the flop and another on the turn. Another guy makes a comment like "wow, you got
  16. I track my winnings and losses on a daily basis. I have a spreadsheet showing every day since I started including rakeback and bonus money. I try to be as objective as possible with my game. I post the occasional hand for review and read all I can about the subject. I probably have about 8 poker books (most of them are 2+2 books).I also read and listen about other people's hands. The only thing better than learning from your mistakes is learning from other's mistakes. If you want to be able to move up in limits and still be a winning player I think these are very important concepts to ap
  17. What's the big deal here? David agreed with Daniel that he was rusty and then said he would be willing to play him again. Some people just need to create drama.
  18. Check out this thread @ 2+2. It is a great guide to bonus whoring.
  19. UB has also had a couple 100% to $100 bonuses in the last week or so. I've got my $200 sign up plus 2x$100 reload bonuses to clear (about $50 done so far). I clear them at about $20/hour 3-tabling 2/4 and 3/6 6-max.
  20. Another thing, the short handed games on UB seem extremely nice. A lot of weak players folding the turn and river. Probably what led to my river bet. Running at 10BB/100 just seems to do that sometimes.
  21. If it had gone bet, raise, call then I would probably think that. However, with only 1 bet I have no reason to assume anyone has the flush yet. Even the 3-bet doesn't say much. The turn bet is marginal at best. Probably still -EV. The river bet is horrid I agree.
  22. Because I figured I had 11-12 outs and getting 3:1 on my money is still pretty good.
  23. I was in some fairly land where this was heads up and had some fold equity. Yea, it is dumb. I also should have considered taking a free turn card.
  24. Rip me up:Ultimate Bet 3/6 Hold'em (6 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is Button with J:heart:, Q:club:. 1 fold, MP calls, Hero calls, SB calls.Flop: (8 SB) T:club:, 9:club:, 6:club: (4 players)SB checks, BB bets, SB calls, BB calls, MP calls.Turn: (12 BB) T:spade: (4 players)SB checks, BB checks, MP checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls, MP calls.River: (16 BB) 9:diamond: (4 players)SB checks, BB checks, MP checks, Hero bets, SB folds, BB calls, MP calls.Final Pot: 19 BB
