  1. custom is right.just because you know 100 other people who use the word gay doesn't meant that it's okay to use. That's probably one of the most stupid and overused arguments that people use nowadays and i thank "DaBruins" for being an example of that. I also thank him for getting their arse kicked in football today.Royal i disagree with you. Just because our generation has taken the word "gay" to mean lame, does not at all make it right to use.If gay means lame but gay is also a term used for homosexuals, then you're calling homosexuals lame. It's the ****ing transitive property bitches.i
  2. the drunks are at ****ing USC ****ing partying it up before the big game tomorrow.
  3. Sorry. I guess I'll try harder to please you next time. Actually, since this is an internet forum and you don't have to respond to my posts if you don't want to.......I will just keep on stating my opinions on the matter at hand and back them up with FACTS, STATS, AND REASON. I do that every single time, and I'm sorry that you can't keep up.btw, Texas is going to ROUT USC. What is funny is that is Texas were to beat USC by only 7, then you are going to try and make yourself feel better by saying how "wrong" I was since Texas didn't ROUT USC...anyways, seriously though, I am right and you are w
  4. i'm going to go ahead and redirect your attention to what royal said. An easy tactic to recieve more information about your opponent is getting to know whether they are a good player or they are not. In a hand, if you start asking them questions about what kind of hand they have and all that, most of the time they just shut up and dont' answer. I've learned that if i ask questions like "so...how long have you been playing?" or "read any good poker books lately?" or stuff like that, they'll usually answer. If their answer is knowledgeable about the game of poker, usually its much easier to

  6. i stand by my original argument.kowboykoop is one of the most annoying, cocky, and stubborn individuals i have ever encountered.
  7. the advice on this thread is disgusting.you raise preflop on the button when it's folded around to you with pocket 6's. It's just +EV to do so.It's an EASY fold by the turn.Redpill. stop giving advice if you don't know what you're talking about.
  8. I'm going to be attending a Philanthropy Event that is a poker tournament this Thursday. The format is a little bit different so the strategy of how to play is going to be different. I was wondering if you guys could give me some tips on how to change my strategy in order to win.Basically each organization has a team of 5 guys. The tournament starts at 7:30 and ends at 11:00. Whatever team has the most chips at 11:00 wins the grand prize. How does having teams change strategy? How does ending at 11:00 and the team having the most chips change strategy?
  9. Well, you can see my 2 4 offsuit when I go all-in with your goggles while your holding Aces. When my goggles already seen the 2 2 2 flop ahead of time :-) Unless I got the concept of goggle #2 wrong, do you see all of the cards at one time (Like see flop/turn/river preflop)? Or is it you see the flop before it is dealt...THEN the turn (after the flop had been dealt). Because if goggle #2 is the 2nd scenerio I mentioned, I will just take goggle #1 instead.umm...i would fold with my aces. if you can see your opponents cards, why woudl you ever put your chips in the pot without having the n
  10. Exactly. They were exposed Saturday for the team that they CAN be.But still. If Reggie Bush has another 400+ yard performance, I'm not sure there is anything Texas can do to beat them.uhh...no, this doesn't make sense. Reggie Bush had that performance and they only beat Fresno St. b/c the Fresno St. QB threw four gift interceptions in the game. Three of those interceptions were thrown right at a USC defender, they were HORRIBLE interceptions that Vince Young would not throw. (and yes, I did watch the game...). USC couldn't not stop Fresno St. at all, the only reason USC won is because Fresno S
  11. It's quite easily Magic Goggles #1 that you want.If you read Paul Phillips discussion it makes a lot of sense. Basically if you have Goggles Number 1 in a major tournament, you should be able to win almost 99% percent of time given incredible focus. He estimated 95% because human error plays a bigger role in this than he thought, remembering other people's whole cards and what not.
  12. once our primaries and secondaries heal up from their injuries on D i think we'll be okay.i'm going to go with my heart and my gut and say USC 35-Texas 28
  13. how is taking time off not an option? It sounds like it's exactly what you need. Take a LONG time off. You're a college student, there are plenty of other things to focus on. Poker will ALWAYS be there, but college is only 4 years.
  14. Jadaki outplayed me. Jadaki bet the pot with top pair and q high flush draw. When she bet the pot with 3 diamonds on the flop i thought she was protecting something with no diamonds. I had a 9 high flush draw with a gut shot straight draw. When the diamond hit the turn i thought i was good but nopeeeeeee Jadaki suckered me in. hi, my name is sapphiretiger, and i am a donk.
  15. yeah, it wasn't a huge laydown at all...i'm not sure if you were being sarcastic.I didn't like him when he was talking on the phone after raising Lederer out of a hand, but maybe it was edited to make him seem like a bit of a jackass. He seems okay to me.
  16. who was the guy on this forum that played the NL low limit games 25 buy in and amassed a hugeeee stack?
  17. i gave serious advice before but after reading your blog i decided that it might be a better idea to quit poker. I thought other people were just randomly flaming you, but from what i have read of your blog, you need to quit poker, or take a good amount of time, at least a month, and study the game. You are playing hands completely wrong. Post some of your hands in the strategy section and get them analyzed. Do something, because as of right now, it hurts me to see how you're donking off all your money, especially if this is your income. Take all of the advice on this thread to heart beca
  18. listen to the advice of the posters that actually care.we all sucked at one point, but intense studying and a lot of hours changed that.but one of the most important things that you have to learn is to accurately assess your own play. You have a lot of misconceptions about the game of poker and you need to get those out before you lose your entire bankroll. Look at yourself without the blownup ego so you can fix your game.
  19. BTW I checked out you're blog. I guess you do have the credentials to critisize Phil Ivey. What with you're success in the limits you're playing and what not.hahahahaha
