  1. Any of you think these two guys are happy? Fark, I hate materialism. That house just reeks with agony to me. They have no life, no nothing. They just dont get it. Money. My. Somebody smack them up and show them why they were put on this earth. Sure wasnt to be in that deathhouse. Am I the only one who gets this? Has the whole world gone mad? Poker is a game that we love. The game. We want to win money, but we dont wanna be ruled by the game. These guys have got nothing. Absolutely nothing.
  2. Personally I would like that everyone refer to me as "T-bone"....Douchebag.
  3. From Cardplayer:"Sun Jul 09 22:46:00 PDT 2006Fan Brought to TearsIn an outpouring of emotion after meeting Daniel Negreanu, a fan at the ladies event weeps after meeting the poker star and recieving a hug and autograph. As a chain reaction Anjela Brunson, sitting next to her, also began to cry along with a few other women holding back their tears. "I mean, this is such a nice image. Gives a nice perspective on what poker have become today if you compare what it used to be in the old days. I wonder what Amarillo Slim would say about this. A woman starts crying at the table and all other women
  4. Anyone know where to get the first four episodes of this new season, cant find all of them neither at torrentspy nor piratebay. Suggestions?
  5. The purpose of this thread is to gather tips and information about the best way to approach your mother when it comes to exlplaning that poker is not gambling. I am 26 years old and I work in a bank. On the side I play poker online and have been doing so since october 2004. I am a winning player, not big time but I am a consistently winning player. My games of choice is shorthanded 1-2 NL HE and 2-4 fixed Omaha H/L. Now it may sound strange for me being 26 and all to care about what my mother thinks about poker. But the thing is that my mother doesnt feel good at all knowing I play poker. She
  6. I dont agree fully. Consider a scenario where he wasnt up against quads or river boat beats he would have finished this game about 600-700K up. Small margins in poker.
  7. What you just wrote is one of the mostwell put posts Ive seen in 10 months on this forum. It is nice to hear that not everyone here are clueless disrespectful MTV youngsters. My hat´s off to you sir. See you at the tables.
  8. After the redraw the real Slimenem (Las Vegas) is actually registred. Good luck Daniel!
  9. Is Daniel playing? people are whispering he is...
  10. Gotcha. So I was way off then. Worth a shot though.
  11. Maybe Im way off here, but this certainly is interesting...Words by Daniel in May this year from a thread about the limit challenge match vs. Joe Cassidy:"In fact, I would stake Joe in limit hold'em against Barry anytime. I'd also stake Jennifer Harman, Todd Brunson, Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, John D'Agostino, Erick Lindgren, Erik123, David Oppenhiem, Ted Forrest, Ray Dekargani, John Hennigan and several others in limit hold'em against Barry. I think it's one of his worst games. "Judging from his words here and by the fact that Daniel a week ago refered to Dreamclown as some punk/kid and wrote
  12. "So, not to get mathimatical on you or anything, but the odds of this happening to a random person are roughly the same odds of janet Reno being a woman. That is so close to zero chance, we'll just call it zero."Now this is some good writing
  13. When you sign up for an account there is a field asking for a promotion number. In the mail to all of us charter members Daniel told us we will get 100% bonus on our first deposit and better rake conditions. However, there was no promotion number or anything like that included in the mail. Anyone know if we have to put anything in that field? Thanks.
  14. Pretty amazing that so many decent players on this forum say that and actually believe it.Watched the first heads up travis seemed to really get run over but I would think some of it was the cards.I will back Suited on this 100%. I played exlusively at pokerstars for over 2 yrs and I couldn't take the crazy crap that happened there anymore. Most recently on stars I was knocked out of 19 consecutive MTTs and SNGs as a 80%+ favorite preflop or postflop. Made the switch to FT and I love it. My big hands hold up, floppin the nuts or a set are good things, etc.Only problem is the traffic. It
  15. I dont know you. You might be a good player. But that attitude you seem to have, that one player can be so outstanding in one session of limit poker is just wrong. Alright, he might have maximised his good hands and minimised his bad ones, but saying you could follow his every move and determine whether or not his play was optimal is just like saying you are as good as him. What you saw was probably a good player having a good run of cards. One session of poker is highly dependant on the run of cards, no matter your level of skill. To say that he would beat any player on any given day is just

  19. Thank you for your responses, it gave me something to think about.I play 5 tables. And my numbers are dead accurate, although they include maybe 1000 dollar bonus from the first month...to spice it up a little bit. Again, thank you.
  20. Alright, Im facing a pretty big decision and would need some advice.I´ve been multitabling Nl 1/2 for three months now and show an average daily profit of 179 dollars(33/hour) , something I am very satisfied with. However, the negative aspects of sitting inside in front of the computer are starting to wear on me. I mean, doing nothing constructive day out and day in makes you feel kind of outside the society. I dont pull my straw to the stack so to say(swedish expression). I know I am well capable of moving up in limits and probably make a living at this, but to what expense? Less social life,
  21. Did you look behind the couch? That's where I look when I lose things. Sorry, for some reason I love that joke.Unfortunately, a lady I knew that had a one year old always on her arm told me she lost the baby (she always called her kid the baby) and I made that joke knowing the kid was in the car. Turns out she was pregnant and thought I knew and she had a miscarriage. I felt silly for a minute but now I have that story to tell. moral: everything has a silver lining.ouch. thats even worse than calling someone pregnant when they're just fat.I did that. Yesterday. Just horrible.
