Haha, yeah, I always play there once a week, so I can get enough points to get a flatscreen. But for some strange reason, I would never think of buying a flat screen with the 1-2k I make from rakeback everymonth.

The fact that his push may mean he has less than top 2 is what makes him good. The board is an excellent one to bluff at, since most players will realize that QJ is a good possibility. Add that to the fact that he knows a good player cant call with AQ, or even ahve a very hard time calling with AK or AT, makes pushing +EV, regardless of his cards, and regardless of the outcome.I agree that pushing here with the nuts is a good play, but it only works (at high levels anyway) if you push here with hands that aren't the nuts as well.

I dont think raising pf is a good idea at all.I would check the flop sometimes depending on my opponents. If I bet, I wuold play it the same.

I would bet the turn. He has overs a large % of the time, so it gets checked a large % of the time.I hope you never lost to JJ.

Easy fold. Though I probably call out of stupidy. Flush over flush happens a lot more in nl than limit for some reason.

Big mistake not reraising pf. AK does excellent pf, but doesnt hold up so well postflop.As is, I fold the turn vs most players.He obviously has a lot of hand that beat you, + a small amount of hands you beat. Rereading the action, he obvsiously has 44.

easy call vs mahatma. I expect to win 47.86% of teh time. Actually, the fact that so many people consider laying down top 2 makes this one of the easiest calls evre vs a smart player. Yes! No!He is a very smart, very aggressive player. He knows he can rep the straight, and if he knows a lot of players won't call with a decent hand - most good players arent folding top 2 here, hes trying to push them off a hand like AQ - so he can profitably push with any 2. On party vs a random donk, this is closer to a fold then vs a high stakes rapper.

I am moving away from August to December, and my income from my job cannot accomodate my high rolling lifestyle.Anyway, I feel that since I finally rely on poker for money, a terrible downswingn is about to ensue. You obviously lack a basic understanding of probabilities. My advice is to stop playing poker immediately.Edit for clarity: 140 000 people out of all the people that have lived is nothing. And thinking like this is wrong because there are a ton of people out there with a ton of stupid ideas (think scientology). People are dumb, and judging something based on numbers rather than the idea/logic will lead you to the wrong conclusion most of the time.

Good absolute and relative position and potential to make a big hand with huge implied odds I would think. Of course none of htis matters if you cant get away from a losing hand.
