  1. I am SabaAba's wife and I am playing as Maya6 :-)Good Luck everyone.
  2. It doesn't matter what the casino claims you won for tax purposes, you are the one that claims it at the end of the year, so if he had to claim 21K but only got 4.2K, he would just offset his wins from his losses. Of course it's easier for the guys who had to claim 3K and got 4.2K, but they are all technically responsible for the same amount of taxes. And there is no casino that withholds taxes for you, therefore, it doesn't really matter.Lastly, I've never hear a stupid rule about deal making and the casino not claiming for tax purposes what they actually paid you, that's just WRONG and stupid
  3. nice play :-)nice to meet you 2 :-)
  4. I would love to play against you in any tournament then.I'm sure most pros wouldn't lay it down, but I bet that most pros don't go broke on this hand either. Look at the DN hand against Faraha when he rivered the flush and DN had the str8, according to you and almost everyone else on this thread, DN MUST be weak tight because Farha could have anything here.C'mon be real, just because you aren't good enough, don't say every pro would go broke here too.And someone was right, you don't have to go all in here, you can just call, especially when it's AAxx, you have to figure him for at least an A,

  6. You have T9 off suite, why are you even thinking of doing anything but folding? Even trying to get heads up is a losing play. He is in LP with short stack, he could easily have AT or A9 where you are dominated. EASY FOLD.And, NEVER EVER be result oriented in poker, the result should have NO AFFECT on your decision. Look at it this way, if the flop was KKQ, would you have asked this question? Exactly! Anyone telling you here to 3 bet with T9 off is just trying to make you lose.If you are in BB, then call, SB easy fold.
  7. preflop you have to call with that many people. I will almost call with any pair preflop to a standard live action raise. I think you said the first guy to move all in had you covered, but if he didn't, you should have gone all in over the top. I think you were upset that the AA won, but you had the best hand on the flop and the worst hand on the river, so either way you would have lost. The only guy who played badly is the AA guy, although the 98 guy should not have gone all in, that was stupid.
  8. You're obviously NOT a good lay :-)
  9. I agree with the flop raise, but when it's heads up, in this situation, I tend to take the free card for the following reason. You had fold equity with your flop raise, BUT when the rag hits turn, you have no fold equity left. There is nothing BB called a raise on the flop with that he doesn't call the turn once the 2d hits. If he has an 8 or a 9, he is calling your turn bet here with the 2d on the turn. Which means you are now betting 1BB just on a draw, even if it's a good draw, there is no reason to bet it. You are getting 1 to 1 on this one bet. There is no draw that you have that gives you
  10. if you want to lead out turn then c/r flop, but it could very well be that someone already has a flush, slow playing it. If you had Ac6, then I say c/r flop lead out on turn.Since it's only Kc6, I say check/call flop, and check/call turn (1 bet only). Since there are a few callers on flop, you figure someone might have Ac and chasing flush too.
  11. I don't play 0.5/1.0 (I play higher, maybe players are better, who knows) so I can't tell you for that game, but in the games I play, you MUST check turn.Remember that he was BB and could have any 2 cards. Since he lead out on flop I put him maybe on TP weak kicker. So your raise on flop is good. When another rag hits, he checks and if you bet, if it was me, I raise you figuring you on a flush draw, with 2 overs here. (Yes you have odds to call, but I am ahead and don't mind adding money to the pot as most likely a 70-30 favorite. Assuming just a call on the turn, there is nothing he folds on t
  12. in EP short stack with about 4BB goes all in means he has a decent hand, most likely 2 pictures and he is just trying to win, the fact he had AK is just good lucky for him. He might even push TJ here, and definately any small pair. Then you to act with TT, you are most likely a coin flip or better with that guy, so puch to try get everyone else out. Your big unlucky thing is that someone else with a lot of chips happened to find QQ, easy call for him as well. So you played it fine, I would have done the same thing, and I think 99% of tourney players would have too.You are of course lucky the o
  13. Not only what the above said, but the rake is capped already, so who cares and what if it's a fish? and he doesn't have the nuts, you should be raising as well, unless it's your buddy who you know knows the game, just raise it.
  14. Implied odds are there only in NL and only if you know your oppenent is not very good and will not lay down a hand to a big flush bet.LOL.aseemOK I don't mean ONLY in NL, but mostly in NL how's that? Most likely you do not have very much implied odds in limit, just based on the fact that you will only be able to get one or 2 more BB, not the other guys whole stack. But yes, implied odds exist in both, obviously :-)
  15. Why didn't you just check the turn here? It's obvoius that if you bet a somewhat large amount, you will be reraised by the BB with any holding.Next time check the turn and see what unfolds on the river. If he goes all in on the river, I call, he is obviously bluffing. If he makes a value bet on the river, then I only call if it's not too big a value bet. But, I believe him when he says he had KK, his all in raise obviously means he does not have the nuts, and even with any pair (excluding 77) that was mentioned below, he has to figure his hand is good, so he would only raise a value raise not a
  16. You are missing the point that daniel checks the river. If DN has the 6, there is no way he is checking the river, do you see why?So there is 0% chance of him having the 6. The only hand DN could have had was an A and with Ted holding AA, there is no reason for him not to push all in, or at least make a value bet. This as DN points out was a terrible play by Ted.
  17. Implied odds are there only in NL and only if you know your oppenent is not very good and will not lay down a hand to a big flush bet. So yes, there are certain people I will not call because if pot odds are not there, I know that there will be NO implied odds. Of course, you must know your opposition.
  18. OK I know this is anal and all, but I was completely confused when the title said DW knocked out w/ Krabler and then saw that he had T6. OP you meant that he got knocked out BY Krabler, not with Krabler.Remember, NO ONE loses with the Krabler.
  19. You got it right, you have to put in 50 to win 200 or 25%, Since your flush has got a 9/47 = 19% chance of hitting on the next card, you don't really have the odds to call, however, if you are drawing to the nut flush, your A might be good as well, so that could be 12/47 = 25.5% which means you should call. But, I assume this is NL, you should also consider the amount of money you would be able to extract from these players if you hit your flush. Also, is there anyone else left to act? Maybe they will raise if you just call.Assuming you are last to act, I would call the $50 in this spot, howev
  20. I know SSHE says to do that, but I only do that if I am playing short handed. I would limp in with KJs UTG.Suited connectors I limp UTG only if I know that about half the table limps in preflop. In fact, if I know that half the table calls a raise from the UTG, I would raise with T9, 98, 87 suited just to build the pot :-)
  21. I will now share with you information that will make you more money than anything else in poker. ALWAYS limp in with 63suited. Besides the fact that I have won more money with 63 suited than any other hand is besides the fact. The reason is, in NL so many people can NOT lay off 2nd best hands and almost no one in NL play (lower limits) ever folds Baby Aces, which means that when they hit a straight using their A3, you will go all in and with with 63. (also a reason to play 46 and 56 suited)Anyway, if you don't like money fold 63 suited, or just do what the OP did, tell your opponent not to ra
  22. Well technically, there is no answer to this at least not a mathamatical answer. If the good players have a 10% edge and are making 3BB/100, then you could technically prorate, however, who knows what edge you really have if you are winning 3BB/100, so can't really be calculated. You could of course look at it like this though:If you have any edge over the whole table, then technically you should win all the money at the table, given of course a long run game. So if you knew how many hands the long run game was, you could calculate the /100 amount, but that is also not knows.
  23. I think Stephen A is the best NBA analyst out there, however, I agree that he sucked on this show because his lack of poker knowledge. However, he kept saying that he doesn't understand the infatuation (sp?) with this game and it doesn't seem he really cares. Evelyn I agree came as if she was ultra nervous that's why it didn't seem natural.DN was DN Mike was great, although his ADD comes off as if he's a little dumb Vince, oh my was that guy wasted or what? He couldn't wear a normal shirt and couldn't even sit straight. I lost respect for him on that show.DN, BTW, you seem to have a long blink
  24. Here's a gay test, if you stopped to look at "TheWynn"'s avator many many times and were not reading his post, you ARE NOT GAY :-)
  25. Hate to bring this whole thing up again, BUT ..If Daniel is Pickedl Egg, why would he even consider making a deal at the end of the WCOOP main event. DN never makes deal, so it would seem that just talking about a deal would rule out that it was DN.
