Pretty fresh at the table, 5/10 at ftp.Guy is aggressive, capped ATo preflop and capped me before when I 3-bet him. I want to get a read on him.I get QTo UTG and raise and get called by villian in the BB. Flop comes 3s4h4hcheck, i bet, callturn comes 3d and goes check/bet/raise, what do you do?

Your ace and your 8 are going to be good if you can flop right and you have position, but we are going to be playing A8o 3-4 ways a lot of the time, which means continuation bets on a lot of boards where we can easily be drawing to 3 outs. It's just too weak. Plenty of overcards to an 8. I could think of a few reasons to fold.Was talking with Steve and Cobaltblue and they muck here, too, fwiw.

i think it's different enough for a new thread.This one I would just muck preflop. Isoing one guy I might try and pull it off, sad thing is, it's hard to iso in a lot of games.As played i would probably raise/muck the turn.

first off you are playing you hand incorrectly on the first draw. You should check into the 1 card draw since you are drawing 2. Second draw, too, homie. If they are drawing less than you, check.But anyway, if someone kept doing that to me (and to me it looks like a form of snow) I would resnow. C/r Pat with air and see what kind of balls he really has.

i think we CAN have the best hand here a certain percentage of the time...whatever it may be. I think it's enough to raise considering we want to maybe clean up a 9, take a free card, or value bet the Dbettor on the turn if we get position.

I like it. I think a loose passive guy is going to pay you off in a pot this big with a lot of cheese. What if we check? passive guy bets...id rather just get in the bet on our own time, in a sense.

i dont think you should have capped the second draw. He check/raised the first draw like he had something to show for it...like a draw to a 7. I doubt he cought an 8 with 2347 and capped the second draw so i think c/c river is good.

2-7 games are pretty soft and its definately worth taking the time to learn. i hate lhe too but im good at it so there goes that. i know about all games o8 probably being the most or stud hi.
