  1. actually, its impossible. this is the entire point of the line. in light of screechs comments, it seems it applied incorrectly in this situation, but the logic behind the move dictates a fold to a 3 bet.
  2. Pretty impressive considering the tournament doesn't start for another 45 minutes...just practicingok that was really funny.
  3. yea, in looking back at it the flop call is brutal.EDIT: why does this make the c/r/f bad?

  5. smash, you are way off. the obvious lesson here is that any play is correct if it works once. this should be stickied.
  6. how many hands did you see? 200? 1000? it doesnt matter because you didnt see enough to make any conclusions about his style.
  7. for a guy who is ranting about math, you seem to know nothing about it. if his calling ranges is QQ KK AA and AK, then almost 50% of the time he will have AK (16 out of 34). `
  8. its fairly new, but im still skeptical. its a great idea but its going to cause problems with PAHUD. im waiting till they officially release it.
  9. if this translation is accurate, then here is why fluffdog is a moron: (justblazes reply in blue) On the topic of Phil Ivey's final hand in the WSOP Main Event where his pocket jacks ran into Kanter's pocket kings, I believe Ivey's 3 million chip all in bet was ill-advised. If Ivey is called in this situation he is likely facing one of four hands: AA, KK, QQ, or AKs. A professional sees that he's a 4 to 1 underdog against the higher pairs and is in a coinflip situation against the AKs. According to my calculations, this means Ivey will win the hand only 28% of the time, assuming equal pro
  10. I'd love to see this math.its actually not that complicated. essentially, he uses game theory to optimize his betting. his strategy is to see lots of flops cheap and make massive overbets with premium made hands and premium draws. if his bets get called, he wins all of the pots with the premium made hands and some of the time he gets there on the draws. If he never gets called he wins all the pots (0bv). his opponents must try to guess which type of hand he holds, but since he plays them both the same way this is pretty much impossible. therefore the only way to counteract the strategy is to a
  11. wow... thats harshIf someone wants to call me out like that, I will be an assexcept he had enough respect not to call you out in public.
  12. do you know what limit table took it down?you still alive? go on aim!
  13. table selection is nothing without good seat selection.
  14. in the general tab, click the more detail button on the right upper corner of the player summary box, then scroll down. i would uncheck include preflop for this number, since you already know PFR.
  15. PAHUD + Party Mod background = +EVyea mines black and chairless. soooo much better.
  16. what limit and site? how many tables are you playing?
  17. anyone not using PT is stupid. PAHUD is also incredible. I used GT+ for a long time and its garbage compared to PAHUD. I really shouldnt even be telling anyone this. its -EV for me.
  18. 10 is sustainable. 18 is not. 12 buyins is probably good for 1 table with a low variance style. id want to have 25-30 before i started 4 tabling. It was for 20K hands til I moved up and went back to 7.nice run. find me someone beating it like that for 100k hands and i will admit its possible.I don't think I can do thatBut thanks it was a hell of a runme jealous

  22. definitely drunk. he open-completed small blind with A7o, you raised, he called. he flopped a monster and capped it. i really am missing the donkey part of this hand. except for open-completing. haha, he open-completed.
  23. are you drunk? he capped the flop with top two. i cap that flop every single time.
