it was ok. 279 is a cool venue (ive been there before), we got a free hat. there was a freeroll for 50 or so people drawn at random from the crowd of 300ish. i got drawn. the structure was obviously designed to minimize the time of the tourney. we got 4k chips to start, 100-200 blinds, and they doubled every 10 minutes. 7 handed with 7 tables, we played down to 1 winner on each table. I eliminated a guy 5 handed: blinds were 1000-2000 with a 300 ante (again, the structure was crap), i was big blind with 52o. UTG pushed for 3700 total, and it was folded to me. with 8k in the pot and only 1700 t
