I have sat at many tables and never got the jackpot because both cards didn't play. But I've seen it a few times at other tables. Most cardrooms require a jackpot hand to be Aces full of 10s or better beaten by a bigger full or quads, royal flush.

I think I read somewhere that Hachem had a friend who qualified for a ME seat on Pokerstars, so he just bought a seat to go play with him. But played on that site regularly.

Commerce tops all other poker rooms in LA, IMO. Large spread of limits and games. More than enough tables.

apply for a work visa. since poker is your "work" that will allow you to stay here for a lengthy amount of time while you apply for your green card or grant your citizenship.
