I was just reading how u can get rakeback on UB and had some questions and maybe someone can hook me up. I was looking on pokerlistings and saw that they have a $600 first time deposit bonus but can't get it to work (and email attempts to them seem useless since the apparent botched software upgrade). Anyway my questions are as follows:1) If i can find someone to help me with rakeback after I have downloaded the software but haven't made a deposit yet, will my rakeback affect my sign-up bonus (ie rakeback starts after bonus given)?2) How slowly do the bonuses really clear? As far as where to stay, it depends on what you're looking for. If you just want something cheap to take a shower, spend short times in, then Excalibur was pretty cheap. I have stayed at Excalibur, Luxor, Aladdin, and Treasure Island. Try to get a package deal for hotel and airfare as it may be cheaper than getting the poker room rates. Yahoo travel was good for me as I got two round trip tickets (from Dallas) and hotel accomodations at Alladdin for about $600. I agree that taking a break is definitely +EV.However, if you're doubting which style you would like to persue to get you out of your current funk, why not try some SNG's? It sure costs less and could be the cure you're looking for. I do this when I feel I can't catch any cards or keep getting sucked out on. And it's not like you're thinking of grinding it out at LHE and abandoning NLHE, so why nit limit your downside?Just saying.

I play at a casino that has a bad beat jackpot (aces full of kings or better beaten). Yesterday while playing a little 5-10 LHE, I was dealt AQ suited and hit the monster flop AAA. As the hand unfolded I didn't even expect to be in contention for the BBJ because everyone played the hand so passively. At showdown the board read AAAJK so my kicker didn't play. If you ever decide to do instacash and don't want to pay the fee InterPoker will let you do an instacash deposit and they'll pay the fee for you. Then you can tuen around and withdraw the amount back to NetTeller and use it however you want. I've done it several times when I want cash on PP or Stars. The only down side is that InterPoker has to send you a password to withdraw your money (snail mail). Just saying.

Anything more than the amount you bought in for will sometimes take longer to show up. I did this earlier in the month and couldn't figure out what the heck was going on... But after reading the website it said that anything above the amount you bought in for could take up to 48 hrs to process. Mine showed up the next evening. :roll: Hope this helps.

Hey Tommy - I have the Toshiba 52HM84 and LOVE it (you HAVE to get cable HD programming b/c it's so money) But one word of caution... get the extended warranty. I have had the TV for a little over a year and the lamp exploded. Luckily I called Toshiba and they sent me a replacement (even though it was out of warranty by two weeks). I have been told that replacement lamps are at least 300 if you can find them. The warranty is only a little more than that for 4 yrs. coverage. Anyway GL.
