All_In 0
"If you're in a room of 100 people, odds are likely about 40 think God created humans about 10,000 years ago..."too funny...or scary?http://ca.news.yahoo.com/4-10-americans-st...063203-267.html

Balloon guy 158
and I don't think you got it either. You got to love that they think their 60% group ( which contains All+In ) is the smart one when they can't get a simple point.
Mayoster 0
Would be interesting if you took the same 100 and did further surveys on who are the happiest and most content with life?If it helps people sleep at night knowing God created all, then more power to them.Theres a lot worse theories out there. And if us atheists would be better at getting together for social gatherings, this difference would disappear altogether.
myenemy 0
Its so much easier not to believe in anything. Maybe a's are just lazy?
BigDMcGee 3,352
I... don't think you got my pointWas it something like.... "Hey, I know we're a crazy and unscientific country, but look at these countries you're always apologizing for.. they are CRAZIER and more unscientific!!! NA NA NA NA NA!"My point is, we should hold ourselves to a higher standard of enlightenment. Getting to say NA NA NA NA to islamic states is nothing to be proud of.

Skeleton Jelly 2
I don't know what Shake's point was.
Balloon guy 158
I don't know what Shake's point was.If you got 100 people in a room, chances are that 40% of them would have gotten Shake's point. Can you believe in a forum with cross posting references and subtle wit being trumpeted, that 40% of the people didn't get it?But 60% of the people agree with All_In now? brvheart 1,752
I don't know what Shake's point was.All_In is a Muslim apologist. Shake's point was that All_In was ripping on America, but in the Islamic Middle East, which All_In defends with vigor, the ratio of people that believe that God created the Earth is probably like 93%. Everyone here already agreed that All_In was worthless. That's not exactly breaking news.I think BigD's "point" was far more interesting.

Roll the Bones 74
I don't think the number is all that surpising. I don't think many of us here would give humans on average alot of credit for being that intelligent. I'll bet 90% of people think milk, white bread and eggs are good for you.
