mrdannyg 274
And there's a difference between allowing you to hold your own political views, constitutionally, and wanting to be friends with you. I know Republicans think it's bullying when they are held accountable for the social agenda of their leaders and fellow Republicans, but the constitution doesn't specify who you have to be friends with or even show respect to. That's awesome. I don't dictate politics to run my friendships and I teach my kids to live the same way. If you believe in UFOs and think they are running the country you are still welcome in my house. We just don't talk politics. Now if you are a Habs fan. That's a different story. You are banished. MapleLeafpoker 1,462
None of this is about Serge or really politics, but in general...I find as I get older, I have much less patience for people who don't add something positive to my life. I learned from a good friend a while back, its just better to eliminate people from your life that are selfish, that are all about them, or those who bring too much drama and angst to my life. Luckily none of my true close friends are this type, but I do have many varied groups of friends, and at some point, I just decided I would spend more time with those that bring me happiness. Life is too short to spend it with people who don't bring something to the table and value your friendship.

I learned while ago so I don't stare at Obama every time Daniel posts You realize literally nobody on this entire forum wants to stare at an obnoxiously large photo of Donald Trump in every friggin thread. Leaving it there is just admitting that you are a troll who is intentionally trying to piss people off. Whatever floats your boat.

I shrank it to an acceptable size which is something that has been done dozens of times in the past with other people's signatures.
mrdannyg 274
It's a reach to make that analogy. Not even close. I'm white and Canadian and I have leginitate worry about the damage Trump will do to people I care about. White nationalism is not just different political views. If someone stayed home this year and voted Republican for the next 50, I could still be their friend.

DanielNegreanu 141
I find that hard to believe that you would shut out 50 percent of the American public. Especially in your position as a poker ambassador. We live in a free country that is built on a constitution that allows for every citizen to express political freedom. I don't agree with Hillary supporters as I believe she is bad for this country. However I respect the views anyone would have politically or otherwise. You don't talk to the Brunson s anymore ? Brunson is NOT a Trump supporter. He may be voting for him, but he doesn't support that vile, narcissistic, racist who gives a voice and a platform to the ugliest white racist groups in the country. It is NOT a coincidence that the KK K and every single member of any white nationalist or white supremacist group in America supports that Orange buffoon. I get along with Brunson despite his vote. Historically I have thoroughly enjoyed discussing my policy differences with Republican friends of mine. I simply won't, and will not stoop to the discussion that occurs with typically uneducated Trump supporters. I have never despised a man and his message more than I have Donald Trump. You want to find a soft poker game? Look for Make America Great Again hats and you will typically find a berry patch of conspiracy toting, awful poker playing, deplorables. DanielNegreanu 141
It's a reach to make that analogy. Ask a black friend Ask a Latino friend Ask a female friend Ask a handicapped friend Ask a friend of the Muslim faith Ask them how Trump's dangerous and reckless rhetoric has negatively affected their lives both living in America and abroad. Ask them how Trump has helped given legitimacy to hate groups and hate crimes. Ask people with a daughter what message they hear when a potential president tells them, "It's hard for a flat chested women to be a 10." Ask around. Get out of that bubble. The analogy is spot on. Trump's rhetoric is damaging to a large group of people whether you think so or not. Just ask around. I don't hold Republican views but I can respect the GOP platform and have civil discussion with people with views like that. That's not a Trump supporter. I have no patience and absolutely zero respect for people who think this guy would somehow make a good president for the country I live in. I have no interest in seeing any of this as funny. It's not funny. It's damaging to America and the rest of the world.

DanielNegreanu 141
1/3 of the way there in Champions League play and we are starting to see some real separation and a playoff picture developing already. In the A Division Canadian Gothic took over sole possession of first place with M's falling Thursday night. On the other end of the spectrum the PK Dealers have been an absolute disaster and fall to 0-7! Already 8 points back in the wild card race and very little hope of ever getting out of the basement. The B division remains tight although Shoot Loose's 2 game win streak was snapped and they sit at the bottom at 2-5. At the top we have a three way tie between Broadway, Ingmen, and Winning Combination all with 9 points after 7 games.
Swacker Dave 89
10-0 Montreal loss!!! Only the second time in their 106 year history? Jake Allen lets in 5 last week! Thank the maker for Mr. Price... I don't think my ticker can handle these goalie swings this year.
