bmwguy525 0
I was just wondering if anyone knows where to find some damn KEM arrows! Every site I look at is "SOLD OUT", and I'm looking for the poker size, not the bridge size. I was just wondering if anyone who has them can tell me where they got them or something. Thanks. Thanks.www.kardwell.comWow, they costs 1,881.62 YUM there. That currency converter is pretty sweet. I've always wanted to know how much KEM arrow cards would cost me in Yugoslav Dinar currency. One more checkmark made on lifes list of goals.
elkang 0
May 1st or June 1st from distributers. The date is not for certain. But, this info comes from US Playing Card Co.Apparently, after the purchase of KEM by US Playing card, KEM manufactured a run of KEM that were not up to standards. So, that's the reason why they have not had new production in a while.
fryer98 30
Are these the best quality cards or something? I just go with the always popular Hoyle.
Nikki_N 17
They are all plastic. Thin, slick, washable, and nearly indestructable. I have some Royal plastic cards I really like.Nikki
AceyDeucy 0
KEM cards are made of cellulose acetate. It's a hypdrophobic polymer that is extremely durable.Basically, the cards have a great but light feel, last a very long time, and are virtually unstainable. A two-deck set should last you a few years of regular use. My only problem is that they sold almost exclusively in bridge width, which is narrower than standard cards. I really prefer full width, though I seem to be lonely in that assumption.Copag cards, which are made of a vinyl material, are a viable, cheaper subsitute that have a much stiffer feel, that is closer to paper, than KEM cards, which feel comparatively flimsy, in spite of their great mechanical properties. I have some Royal plastic cards I really like.NikkiRoyal cards are the spunk of the devil. They are evil. I also dislike these cards. The problem is that royal cards are gloss finish, and a cheaper plastic. They are FAR easier to mark by scoring, and stick together fiercely when wet. I used to use Royal cards when I was running tournaments every night, and after a week's worth of use, most of my dealers were on the verge of refusing to use them, the players all hated them, and I had had to toss half the decks because of cards being marked. But they are priced aggressively. Pay the extra, get KEM or Copag. not slick, very durable.
Socrates 0
eBay has them, you just have to look around the listings. They are going for around $79 now though.

I just looked and they were like $30. May I suggest Copag as a great alternative! I actually like Copags better, and they are about half the price for basically the same product. TS Clark 0
Clearly, I am a boy among men when it comes to these card discussions. I just don't have nearly the range of experience or opinion on this. That said, does anyone have any experience with the cards you can "purchase" with FPP from PokerStars? I've heard these are plastic, casino-grade cards, but I don't know how they stack up to the more expensive brands you folks are discussing. If anyone has any experience or opinions on this, let me know. Thanks.Shane
dEv~ 19
I've never gotten them but I can't imagine them being anywhere near the level of Kem's or Copags. For 1000 FPP points tho they should be.
