hahahaha ive already done exactly that a million times sophomore year (spontaneously skipped school to fly out to Vegas) I think its about time i settle down and just finish school responsibly with some decent grades. I think I saw him fucking up a NL HU player in 25/50 last night on FTP. Maybe it was 10/20. Regardless, your win rate is exceptionally better online than live and he may know that if he won a preliminary event, he would have to play the ME and miss much more than just one week of school.I say go alone and enjoy.

Dont be fooled. I have days where i tear those games apart but my down swings have been pretty brutal as well. Hence why im going to stick to the 10 20nl games for now and wait till the summer to start up 25 50 again. Also I am def wayyyy better live than online so i think i can make money more consistently playing a big live 25 50 game as apposed to several 10 20nl games online. One any given day i would make more online but when you account for the huge swings in the long run i feel like each live session is more +EV

I'm not sure if you'll check back here, but I was wondering what you found to be the largest jump in skill level between cash game levels ... i.e. when you went from 5-10 to 10-20, etc. etc.

I feel like the largest jumps in skill were the following9 max: 3/6 to 5/10 & 10/20 to 25/50 6 max: 5/10 to 10 20I'm not sure how another cash game player would answer this question but this is def how i feel about them. The 6 max 10 20nl and the 25 50nl play surprisingly similar from my experience (this mainly refers to full tilt since poker stars doesn't have 25 50 6 max)I'm curious to see how some1 else who plays 10 20nl + would answer this question...... any one else have contradicting opinions with mine?

Don't regularly attend class? I don't know where you got that from. Just because some of my roommates don't attend class don't automatically assume i do the same. I usually make it to every single class with the exception of when i leave for a week to attend a live event. Other than that i probably miss about 2 classes a month on average.
