gruven 530
They are NEVER going to institute a review of whether something is a penalty or not. The NFL doesn't do it , baseball would never review balls and strikes, and hockey won't review penalties. So the Bozak non-goal, as bad as it was, will still be a non goal with review... Cant we differentiate regular penalties , then plays that affect goals?
TheDaveyG 6
What about the delay of game penalties when a team shoots the puck over the glass? The play is already stopped, so it wouldn't slow the game down that much.
Zach6668 513
What about reviewing those types of things only in the final 5 minutes? 2 minutes?
pezeveng 207
I was at a casino in Irving NY yesterday (long story) about 1hour away from Buffalo, I was at the bar and noticed they were showing the Cornell vs RPI game yesterday. I thought the RPI coach was a Sutter brother but I was wrong.Anyways that was my very random hockey observation. Coach Schafer. I also found out fans camp out the night before to get Cornell season tickets which is cool.

Jason12 0
Leafs had a delayed penalty at the end of the game and Gustavsson touched the puck outside of the trapezoid to get the whistle.... shouldn't that be another penalty?
Zach6668 513
Definitely should be.
serge 904
Pretty big news developing is that Marcel Aubut is claiming an arena deal has been secured in Quebec City. A lot of people believe that its the first hurdle to get Quebec back into the NHL.No one believes that Phoenix will be staying much longer and the obvious connection is there to move them to Quebec.Patrick Roy who is heavily involved (co owner, gm and coach) of the Quebec Ramparts is rumoured to be involved. It would be great to see Quebec back in the NHL and create some of that old rivalry with the Habs. MapleLeafpoker 1,462
Ya, sounds like its getting close for the NHL to get back to Quebec. Glad to hear it, but these guys better stick with the old jerseys and the name Nordiques!!!Winnipeg...checkQuebec...checkHartford.................
serge 904
Any Quebec fans out there?I dont know why but I never got a strong hate for them growing up..They were the lesser of the evils...The big evil empire was the Habs , they were the mini enemy..They are to Montreal what Ottawa is to the Leafs.Regardless should be fun..After last night I could start hating Winnipeg again...Dumb crowd..They booed Gardiner by mistake once because they mixed up 51 for Kessel's
MapleLeafpoker 1,462
I loved watching Stastny-Goulet as a kid. When they had all 3 Stastny brothers playing together on one line, I thought it was the coolest thing. Add in Sakic, Nolan, Sundin....Wendel!.....whats not to love? Quebec got jibbed out of a Cup, they went through all the rebuilding years just to see the Avalanche win it.And I always cheered for the Nordiques vs the Habs. No hate for the Habs, just love the underdog.
