Todays event was listed in the flyer as $200+30 Omaha Hi so I figure why not give it a shot because I'm sure these live donks are terrrrrible at PLO. So I make the drive to AC and apparently they made a mistake and it was Limit O8. So then I make the mistake of still playing, lol. Tourney got like 105 players and I'm pretty sure I was the only one under 50. Play was LOL bad and I had no Ipod so it was a snoozefest. I tried to sleep as much as possible but these old people wouldn't stop talking about politics, the stock market and their plummeting 401ks. They paid top 18 with first being like 6.5k or so. With 19 people left I had like 20k which was close to avg. stack and limit was blinds 500-1k and limits 1k-2k and I end up bubbling making that the second time I bubbled a Limit o8 tourney in as many times as I played a live limit o8 tourney with the first time being in 2005 USPC. Unfortunately it was all at 200 NL today as I'm working on playing longer sessions without my game deteriorating, which was a problem I'd been having at 400 NL. 1778 hands today, +449.51. Not a whole lot, but better than a loss. Trying to break out of this funk I'm in and get back to playing like I was when I was crushing. Link to post Share on other sites

If he was deeper you could call and 'reevaluate', but he's likely to be shoving most rivers here imo after potting the turn, so his range doesn't change much.What it does mean is that your turn pot odds are totally irrelevant. On the turn, you need 33% equity against his range to call if the betting ends there, but given the extra street of betting - the chance of him giving up with a bluff, or him drawing out on you and getting paid, you probably need (rough guess) 45% equity to call the turn.
