When it's time for the guy and his friends to leave at like 130, the girl and her friend exit the bar with them. The guy seems to dig the girl, and asks his friends if they'd mind walking her and her friend to their car. It's about 15 minutes out of the way for the guys. 1) Can the guys say, "Shut the hell up, it's cold, so let's go?"2) If the guys say "no," how bad is that, on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the worst)?3) Is the guy who asks his friends to take a detour for the chick an inconsiderate prick? If it's a somewhat or more than somewhat spooky neighborhood late at night, you should all walk the girls to the car. If it's not at all spooky or dangerous then it really depends on how cute the girl is that your friend is chasing and whether or not your friend offers to buy you all hamburgers or something. The girls spefically asking this is a BIG hint. If you dont take it or you dont allow your friend to take it, you're a moron. As you specified the situation, I dont think this is close. It's a shady place at night and you never know what kind of creep is just waiting for 2 girls to walk by their cardboard box at 130 in the morning.The guy who asks his friends to take a detour is in no way a prick. The other party has conceeded, as per the terms...However, I must let it be known, in the interest of full allocution, that my onstensible interests in walking the girl to her car may have been her safety, but I was really just hoping to quasi-impress her with supreme chivalry, get her number, and perhaps get my wang mouthified at a later date.And my friends (the most outspoken of which was Chris, my roommate) refused to walk the girls to their car, making me either look like an asshole by not walking her, or look like an asshole by making excuses and throwing my friends under the bus. I thought it was a pretty easy sacrifice for my buddies to make, but Chris said it was a selfish unneccessary request, and finished with something to the effect of, "Well, if you ask for a favor, don't be mad when I just say 'no, i'd rather not do that.'" I called him a jerk, and intentionally bought him the wrong brand of cigarettes when I went to the store.Good news is, the girl volunteered her number, then took the proactive position of leaning in for a little smoochie on the street corner, even though her friend and my asshole friends were watching. Knowing they weren't going to get their wangs mouthified at all, they took the route of looking like a jerk and telling you they did not want to walk them. However, you went against with what your friends said and did it anyways, which the ladies would respect even more since you're willing to ditch your friends for their safety.
