GrinderMJ 0
So Grinder,I'm glad it worked out for you, and that you're not all worked up lol.It was good to post this because you were able to get some satisfaction from other players, but also some perspective similar to that of Full Tilts decision.which in the end would help you more, because if we were to all come on here, and wanna be friend you by saying "You know what, He's right guys, thats bad stuff, and he should have a chat banning, grinder for president!!!"You'd probably be more steamed that FT went the way they did right?Honestly, I wasn't really looking for like vindication or support, i was legitimately confused about it. I thought attempting to influence other players in a hand you weren't involved in was wrong. I assumed Full Tilt would agree right away and ban his chat but they said he did nothign wrong, so i thought I would check with you guys. I think what led me to think this was watching the sheik/matusow hand where sheik folds, then slams the table when the flop comes out, like he folded a huge hand. He got a 10 minute penalty right after that, so I thought Full Tilt's response would at least be a temporary chat ban.EDIT: To finish the story, the ****** talking mid hand, finished out of the money. i was dominating like a champ then got it all in with ak vs. a10 and obvoiusly lost to a flush to finish in second. CrazyJoe 0
I've watched players raise raise raise. and yes, I wonder, do they really have good cards each time? having someone yell out, Somebody call this joke, isnt going to make me think, You know he's right. I should risk all my chips on a gamble even though my hand sucks.it's not going to make YOU think that, but what about some guy multi-tabling, not paying attention, just knowing he folded to a few raises, looks back as sees in blue "someone call this joker". Makes him think, "gee, he must be raising alot, my hand is stronger than i thought". Don't think it warrants a ban, but definitely not cool either.
magnus72 0
I have to say I agree with Royal_Tour on this one. Talk like this does happen all the time online and in live action. A player saying "somebody call this joker" isn't going to change the cards that the other players are holding in their hands. If a player is holding a good hand he is going to call you either way, and if he is holding a crappy hand he is going to fold it no matter what anyone else says.
GrinderMJ 0
you can chat while you play?Is this new? They have the internet on computers now?I have to say I agree with Royal_Tour on this one. What about hands like aq-a10 and pairs like 88-55. They certainly don't have a clear cut decision, and possibly could be influenced by outside factors.

blacktie31 0
In tournement poker it's against the rules to try to talk someone into calling if your in the hand, less than trying to get someone to call when your not even part of the action. Brad Booth got warned for this at the WPT Mandalay Bay.

Bgfoot 0
This statement is ridiculous. Yes, he should be warned, further comments during live play should then result in a penalty.Should Mike Matusow have been kicked out of the 2004 WSOP ME for telling Raymer he has little balls? Yes, that factual information could be used by other players knowing raymer has little balls, and is likely shy about it, they could bring up the point of the little balls he has while playing him to get in his head.thats basically the same thing. Also, Ban DN from any more HU tournament games, because when he called out the running cards to give him a straight flush while all in, his voice influenced the rest of the players by making them think he is a God and has xray vision.its basically the same thing. You very artistic way of looking at things. I LOVE IT.
