Other than 3 songs from there new album there is nothing on there playlists from the last 17 years.It was actually 6 I believe... but I really like the new album so I don't mind at all.They were unreal. Hetfield sounds better now then he did during any of the past 10+ years. Lars, for as much of a homo as he is, is really nasty on drums and has only gotten better. Kirk Hammett was on the upside of his playing as well, which tends to vary from ridiculous to sloppy every few years.My only issue is Robert Trujillo. I wanna like the guy. I really do. He's a talented bassist, and seems like a good guy. ... but I just can't watch him on stage. The squatting, the spinning, the hair... he just doesn't fit. I've known nothing but Jason Newstead my whole life, and he was actually my 2nd favorite band member behind Het. i loved his backing vocals and his playing, and he just fit so well with them in every way. Trujillo just sticks out like a sore thumb to me. Regardless, I barely paid attention to him and it didn't affect my experience too much. Not to mention the fact that we tailgated for a solid 5+ hours before the show. Lots of beer, vodka, weed, burgers, hot dogs, snack food... It was phenominalDid my taxes today, getting a healthy return soooooooooVEGAS BABY.Called the wynn and got a free room for mar 12, 13, 14. Booked my flight today as well.I hope I don't have to quit my job to go on this trip.subTOP: Haven't finished mine yet...but the current refund is looking SWEET!It's going to cover a week in Manhattan, a new 54" LCD HDTV for the living room..and a 32" for the bedroom.Jesus christ, I don't know how much I'm getting... mostly because I've worked off the books almost all my life and have only worked a half year at this new job, but if I can get an iphone out of it, I'm happy. Online, turbo tax? accountant?Well since I've started paying student loan interest this year I sat down and did a 1040EZ and 1040A just to see which one gave me the biggest return. I earned too much for the EIC on the EZ so I was going to go with the A but I just went through one of the efile links on irs.gov. Which turned out to be a good move since they got me another six hundy back for not getting a stimulus check last year. Point being they have tons of efile sites on irs.gov to use, most of them charge around 10 bucks to efile your state return but your fed is usually free. Just do some browsing. I prefer efiling because the return checks usually take only about 3 weeks from filing to get to me, I could get the money even faster if I did auto deposit.Does it give you an idea of how much you'll get back?The website I used showed me how much I'll get. I hadnt seen them for 11 years when I saw them in December and I really was expecting a drop off in performance especially for James who has abused his body so much. They were as good or better than when I have seen them in the past. Love that they play songs that you wouldnt expect them to pull out of there catalouge. Hope they come back this way again soon. Of course its because I decided to put a large chunk of money in my retirement fund at the markets peek. Oh well I will worry about that when I am 65. Gonna fund a trip to Vegas and buy some big risk/ big reward stocks with the rest. I love the Wynn Hank you should be happy there. Basically if all your income is on W-2's and 1099's (interest forms) etc and below a certain income level you use the EZ. The Earned Income Credit (EIC) was always a bonus for a working student because I earned so little that it basically gave me back MORE than I had paid for the year in federal income taxes. But you've basically got be in the poverty level for it to really work for you. However, the 1040A adjusts your return with a few more itemized (that spelling doesn't look right) deductions such as student loan interest paid, therefore potentially earning more cash back or reducing any further amount you might have to pay. The bottom line is if you don't know what any of that crap is, go with turbo tax or one of the electronic filers listed here: http://irs.gov/app/freeFile/jsp/index.jsp?ckYou'll enter your name ssn etc and then it will take you through your forms telling what information to enter from your W2, 1099 etc. It will also ask you how much (if any) interest you paid on student loans and other questions that can be used as write-offs on tax returns to maximize your return.
