KDawgCometh 2
However, since effective June 7, it will be illegal (and considering the reason I play I will NOT challenge that law), I've been thinking about playing well outside the roll just for the fun of it. Only drawback is that is also my br for Vegas, so I don't want to lose a bunch of it. However, I think I may play some higher limits, and then once on-line is out of the question, I'll shift the br into live games at the casino/card rooms in the area and see how LHE goes.jmtcwhonestly, that law is going to be near impossible to enforce and its going to be more like the speeding laws IMO. That law can easily be challenged in court and tons of citations can be made in favor of having it shot down

It will be interesting to see if they actually go after people and how that all goes down.

renaedawn 1
I knew I was a decided favorite over nutzbuster before our match. The good players know who the good players are. I was just as vocal about how great I am when I was winning, too.I don't know how it turned out. I didn't pay attention. I think he won, though. So are you lobbying for the cocky label too? Cause I don't think that was ever in question.Or are you seriously trying to say you don't think he's a little beyond arrogant?

Painter567 0
I don't think that fact is forgotten at all, its just that there is a point where confidence turns into arrogance. Its to his own benefit that he learns a bit more humility as being uber cocky will prevent him from gaining meaningful friends and it creates him seeing life in tunnel visionAgree, but I do think it gets lost sometimes.Nice.. guess I should do another Heads Up Lesson with you hehe HEY you owe me $5! KDawgCometh 2
I wasn't very humble until I met better players on a personal level (you and Steve, to name 2) and they told me to STFU. I'm pretty sure that if I told him to tone it down, he would, but I don't really want to.I have told him a few times. When he was running white hot, I told him to chill a bit and sit at a limit and work on his game. He told me that he was pretty sure he was going to beat the game a little less then he was, and I told him that that was not going to happen at all. Then when he was going through the downswing he was complaining about it like it didn't happen to anyone else, and I told him that wasn't the case and told him that he should just turn off the comp and play a bunch of tennis and video games for the next week, to which he didn't listen to me. One can only say so much, and its almost not worth trying when your advice isn't being takensup dave. hows things goin

Cool Runnings 0
In response to how they plan on enforcing the law in WA. When Congress first began considering a law for the entire country a few years back I thought I read something about them being able to or planning on eventually being able to block al IP addresses from a designated are from accessing the sites. I may have this wrong as I am not an uber tech guy. Would it even be possible? If not presently in the future sometome?Maybe some of the tech experts could elaborate on this. I only skimmed the article so I'm sure I've left some important details out.

I think what most of us who have been through some of life's hard knocks are commenting on is the fact that that bolded statement, while fun and cool and all that good stuff, really doesn't serve you well in the long run in this game of life. It's the voice of experience trying to enlighten the voice of youth. A futile endeavor and yet we still feel the need to do it.
