FCPHA: Big Table in the Back

Recommended Posts

My buddy Ryan is in Columbus, WI right now, while they still have power, with 4 sump pumps pumping 13" of water out of their business offices. His older brother is going back at midnight to take over so that if they do lose power again they can start the generator. They office isn't very far from the lake where the 5 houses got washed away. We crossed it every time we drove from Madison to Wisconsin Dells.
Yeah, it's a pretty widespread mess in the midwest.
Cincinnati.......yup, I've now been there.
It's okay. The Mt. Adams area is lovely.

I'm about to drink wine and eat french fries. Gourmet.edit: Yep...I liked my own post.

Happy Fourth of July to those that celebrate. I have a couple of Angus steaks marinating in K.C.Masterpiece Steakhouse blend as I type. That will go with a shrimp cocktail, twice baked potato and corn

The drive turned out to be decent. Quiet, fortunately. The Virginia and WV mountains were very pretty. The farmland in SE Ohio was striking as well.I'm now posting from the hotel bar. There are 14 men here and a male bartender. If a 240 lb hooker with no teeth walked in, I'm sure he'd garner some interest.

So, it's not too flooded out that way?

Not anymore. Though part of the Ohio River looks darker than the Chocolate River in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Well, come to think of it, it's flooded with cock, but that's more Brent's thing.
I'll bet, after reading your posts, he's got a hankerin' for a batch of cock stew about now.

What's the proper etiquette when you're alone in a hotel bar drinking and playing 6-max NLHE? Can you just hibernate and go piss without worrying about some walking off with your laptop, or do you carry it along?

I've taken mine with me, but I've also watched someone's once in Panera while they spent a penny. Does anyone there look friendly and trustworthy? Someone sitting near by who wouldn't mind keeping an eye. It's a gamble, I suppose.

interesting part of an artical from IndyStarMembers of the Indiana National Guard were directed to the hamlet, along with the Marine unit, which flew in from Camp Atterbury. Low- and medium-risk felons incarcerated at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in Carlisle were bused in.Local volunteers also showed up, particularly farmers, townspeople, Mennonites and Amish farmers and cabinetmakers. It made for a strange sight. Meth felons in prison khakis worked alongside bearded Amish in denim working next to Marines in tan camouflage and National Guard troops in green camos. They filled sandbags, towed the bags a few hundred yards to the levee, a 15-foot high berm, and stacked bags waist high to keep back the rising river.http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...9/NEWS/80609004

Hey. Worked all day, then went to the bar and kicked ass in Golden Tee.

Is this actually a band and coincidental that it's Josh's Forum Title, or is there a joke here that I've plainly missed?
They're a local band around here. They were on Fox's Next Great American Band show last year. Got voted out in like 4th or 5th place. Mostly 80's and 90's covers with some original. The guitarist in my brother's band is friends with a couple of the girls in Dot Dot Dot.

I can't figure out why I suck at Scramble so hard on facebook. I love it, but I am routinely stomped by my opponent.
I'm worse than you, I think.Of course I usually play my rounds drunk, not sure of that's better or worse.

Yeah, we have a hooker that hangs around the boat that looks like this. She still seems to do good business because of the boobs.

We're having a lot of problems here, too. Parkersburg got completely wiped out by a tornado. Dike, New Hartford, Marion and Mason City are all under water. Cedar Rapids is losing utilities like Jeffrey loses money to hookers. Iowa City should be flooded by morning. The Skunk River should take out Colfax by Thursday. Four Mile Creek's at flood stage and got the east side of Des Moines worried pretty bad after getting just shy of 10 inches of rain in a week. The Saylorville Dam just north of Des Moines is nearing flood stage and it looks like rain the rest of the week. Should make for some interesting times.CAN THE HUNDRED YEAR FLOODS HAPPEN 15 YEARS LATER!?! NEXT ON CHANNEL 13 AT FIVE!Oh, and I have a new blog up if you guys get bored. Hope everyone is well.
