DrawingDeadInDM 0
Any bowl game is better than 3-9, but one more recruiting class and Michigan will be right back where it belongs while Iowa goes back to being middle of the pack at best. Enjoy your one year to shine... until you lose 2 games because Iowa can't pull away from anyone (3 home wins by a combined 6 points) and since the Big-10 gets no national respect that will mean no BCS bowl for them.Bets I had with Iowa fans this weekend...Michigan + 7.5 for $200Michigan + 8.5 for $100Michigan + 10 for $100Michigan scoring 21+ points for $100Iowa giving up 2 rushing TD's for $100I didn't check my fantasy lineups while I was in KC and I had Sims Walker in my work keeper league and that cost me the game since I lost by 10 but had Maclin on the bench and he had a 20+ point day. Oops.LOL. If we're middle of the pack, then what are you? Since 2002, Michigan has 65 wins and 30 losses. Iowa is 65 and 29. Forcier's a beast though.. 8-19 for 94 yards, no TDs and an INT. He did have 8 rushes for 26 yards though. Solid. Congrats on the winning your bets though.
renaedawn 1
so ESPN is running a survey right now to try to improve their 'comments' sections. (if you are in a comments section, there will be a small link at the VERY top of the page for the survey).here was my 'optional comment'Please. do not let any Florida, Oklahoma or Texas fans comment on any threads involving college football. Their insight is that of the 75 year old illegitimate child of John Madden and Gary Bussey. Also, if you love Tim Tebow so much, start a church.50 yard line, bitch.Suck on that Mr. Bitter. SAM_Hard8 50
Speaking of Church, on my way out of KC I passed a large church called "Fellowship of the Christian Athletes"Whoever started that scam to rip off athletes was brilliant... Time to tithe, whats 10% of your 8 million dollar signing bonus? You can drop the check in the collection plate.... praise JESUS!You do know that's a group and not a church, right? jeff_536 3
Our problems have nothing to do with the towel, but have everything to do with a shizity Defensive Coordinator, an O-Coord that for some reason became rihtarded all of a sudden and a young weak secondary. I'm all about given Vince a shot, but given the current system I'm not sure a QB is going to solve our issues. Least we are on track for a 1st round draft pick. Huh? You mean if you win you don't get a first round pick?

Jadaki 0
LOL. Solid. Congrats on the winning your bets though.Michigan plays a harder schedule than Iowa every year, it's usually in the top 10 if not top 5 nationally by end of each season. Iowa's is usually something around 25-40th depending on who they get in the rotation of the Big-10. Not to mention that your sample size is tainted by last season which was a complete overhaul of Michigan's program. Michigan is probably one or two years at the most away from being the team to beat in the conference again. Over 80% of the starting lineup are freshman/sophomores and that sophomore class wasn't a full round of recruiting for Rodriguez. From what it sounds like Tate's shoulder was bothering him going into the game. I only got to see the last two minutes of it after the casino switched over from FL/LSU and was wondering why Robinson was in on the final drive. You're not going to want to face him when he is healthy.Collecting from Iowa fans is going to be the highlight of my week. Though I think Iowa fans would probably gladly pay me that much every week if they won the game. I'll continue contrarian betting the Hawks with the locals to make money. I have a feeling if they go undefeated into the OSU game they would give me points there too. I can only hope.

Jadaki 0
Tim/Dustin...I need a recount of the distance on this throwing a snowball story I heard over the weekend. Oz was telling me 50 yards, which doesn't sound very believable.

bleacherbum3 9
Indeed it did. I'll just never take a trip to KC to play poker, apparently you need to head down to St Louis to find any good games. Back to back hands, Ren makes royal flush, next hand I make a 9 high paigow. If I would have made the insurance bet it would have paid 100-1. She had her bonus bet on, and made $625 on the Royal. Oz made a straight flush later on, and I got envy bets on both of them so I still made money Well done.

You were on the sidewalk and the sign was at the edge of the parking lot.I was going to say 15 yards tops. Figuring 20' for the parking spot, 20' wide road, a few feet for me on the sidewalk, and the post off the curb.
