dolfan 0 Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 Good pokering, everyone. My weekend was boring yet very productive so I guess there's something to be said for that. In fact, I just said it. I'll be pretty scarce for the next week...going home tomorrow night for a couple training classes in Casper and then staying for the weekend for Mother's Day. Training only lasts until Thursday afternoon, but since I had planned on going for Mother's Day anyway, I've decided that I get Friday off. Considering that I worked about 8 hours over the weekend and have been working a shitload anyway, I think it's fair. Looking forward to kicking it with the family for a few days and having a long weekend. I saw "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead" over the weekend and aside from a few specific scenes (especially the opening scene), I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. dna4ever 2 Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 Friday night - hung out at the neighbors and drank til 2 amSaturday - got to the ballfield about 8 am and worked on the fields for about 4 hours to get all the rain off and ready to play.Played softball and baseball games, lost both, booo.Saturday night - went to a huge cinco de mayo party at my buddy Zack's house, was awesome, about 300 people, 3 live bands, huge stage and tent setup, was great.Got into a little bit of a fight Saturday night when me and two other guys were asked to escort a guy off zack's property cause he was being a belligerant (sp?) drunk causing all kinds of problems. I got to take the guy down once and had the ole awesome thumb and finger choke on him until he submitted. it was then the talk throughout the party about my bad assness which of course I loved.Sunday - Denny and I did the Nascar experience thing. Got to goto the Nashville Super Speedway and ride around the track a few times at 130 MPH in a stock car, IROC. Then we got into some Ford Mustangs and went on a drift course where we were drifting around corners sidways, was fricking awesome.I took about 10 - 11 minutes of video and it's on youtube, most of it is pretty boring if you werent there cause you don't know whats really going on and you couldnt film from inside the cars, but meh, was still cool. The last part of the 2nd video is pretty sweet were I filmed the drifting stuff.Part 1 - Part 2 - The promo picture they took while we were there .... If there was any doubt if we were rednecks or not, this should clear it up definitevly .....Still no stimulus deposit for us yet, supposed to get today I think ...... CarrierBasically shows the lives of some of the sailors onboard as they do a 8 month deployment to the Arabian Gulf.Brought back alot of memories about shipboard life and basically how stupid I was when I was in my 20's. LOLOne dude (e-3 nobody) knocks up this girl before deployment. During deployment apparently they have email and sat phones, which I never had, and the chick damn near refuses to write or talk to him. And he's all worried if she's cheating!
