speaking of bets, you know what sucked!when Mexico was playing Germany in the 05 confederations cup..I went on Bodog and I was ABOUT to place a $50 bet on them tying 3-3 just because it was paying 80 to 1...I actually placed the bet, and then a sign popped up that said that I had to transfer my poker funds to the sportsbook, I was too lazy so I didnt, and they tied 3-3. ;'piahwjet..Im kinda glad I didnt or else Id probably be addicted to sportsbetting right now.edit it might have been paying 44 to 1. either way DAMNIT!

They usually have 4 starting times for games in the group stages:15:00, 16:00, 18:00 and 21:00So take off the 9 hour time (8 in the UK so I presume its 9 for Germany) difference to Germany.

Nolan, where did you get the WSOP schedule from for 2006? All I saw on the worldseriesofpoker.com website was a listing for 'Summer 2006'. These will be the dates, although it has not been announced yet. 2 July through 17 August. Four-day DAY ONE series for main event. At the Rio.

what can I say, the draw sucks for the US. Its really not as dire as everyone is thinking. Nedved is now retired from international football, and the Czechs fire power isn't all that strong, but, the US will have to do what they did to portugal and play the game of their life. We are a stronger team now then we were in 02, and the czechs aren't as strong as they were in euro 2004, but the talent gap is probably still a bit too wide hereItaly is gonna be interesting too. Totti hasn't yet performed at either of the major tournaments where he has supposed to be the man. The problem is, under Lippi they are playing great football. Lippi corrected many of the wrongs that Trappatoni had instilled in them, and Lippi has also brought in new blood as opposed to sticking by Pippo and still trying to get something out of Del Piero, but, if they get off to a bad start, they can be taken advantage of with speed and hard work, which the US posseses

Saw some people wondering where Togo is, not sure if anyone answered that. It is a small little country in Africa on the western side of the continent. I know a dude from there, he is huge, 6'5" and stacked. Has about 20 half brothers and sisters over there. Seems his dad is a busy guy. :PI actually was talking to a guy from Kenya about Africa and Togo, he said most of west africans were that big, and that is why Kenyans were fast, so they could run away from them.
