Umm. just a few things,I've gone 10 for 10 in HU matches, but i've also gone 0 for 3 or 0 for 4. in a row.You cant be serious that you have gone through these stats 1 by 1 and calculated perfectly that u are roughly 80%.Unless i see some form of poker tracker stating an exact number, i think you are skewed to your occasional win rushes.Also.I'd like to add that what you want to do is such a huge mistake. Have you any experience playing live?. What happens if something goes wrong with online poker?, sites get shut down.. etc.. etc...Can you guarantee a teaching job or are you just assuming you would get hired?Do you realise how bored you will be playing HU day in day out for 6 hours a day?.Do you win at any other games? any other form of poker?, have yu tried other sites? The times are American times because the server is based on USA time, but I'm actually in a different timezone. So in between matches I'm living... playing with the kids, eating, etc.I try to take a break after a couple of matches. You need to concentrate pretty hard to be successful at hu... I try and stay fresh. And no I'm not editing the stats so I look good. If you wish I'll provide any other month you name and you can see the whole month. I don't know if that will convince you but the offer is there.I know a lot of people use this forum to try and boost their egos, but that isn't why I made this thread. If so I'd have claimed to have made a little more than 10k in 2 years.

Yes I haven't calculated my exact win % and I may be wrong. But I do know I can win at least 1k a month working 4-5 hours a day.Are my results skewed? An interesting question. I understand it's very easy for us to forget our losses and recall our wins. Has this affected my perceived win rate? I guess I'll have to go through a couple of months and add it up precisely. It's 10 pm now, so tmw I'll leave it to tmw. If Bugsys shuts down then I'm buggerd. I've made a small profit at tourneys, but theres no way I'd be able to depend on them for a living. No other sites offer reasonable hu structures, so its bugsys or bust. As for work. Yes I work in a semi international school and I'm trained as an International Baccalaureate MYP teacher. Which is teacher talk for I'm guaranteed a decent job any time in the next decade. I can walk away and walk back whenever I want. I've played low limit stud, omaha hi lo, and hold em. Made a small profit at each, but not enough to live on. I'm an ok, winning player, but only just. Heads up I am extremely successful. I'm a specialist...As for being bored playing 6 hours a day. Do you have any idea how bored I am teaching 9 hours a day? I'd rather be at home bored for 6, than at work wearing a tie for 9... At least I'd be able to see my family.if Bugsys doesnt fold then I'll definitely make enough to get by. If I turn out to be wrong then I won't have any choice but to go back to teaching.. so I'll do it. As for anyone beating me consistently. There are a couple of players who I don't enjoy playing. And we normally avoid each other as the feeling is mutual. They know they might have a slight edge on me, but they have a huge edge on everyone else. So why not go for the easy money.Anyway in summary, better to try and fail than to always wonder if I could have escaped the rat race if I had more balls.

Wow, what a cash machine that is.But, I went to work because it is alot easier to make money at night than it is during the day. The evening donkeys that work all day and drink all night are easy pickins between 8pm-1AM every night.SNG's are easy cash. But, om hi/lo is fantastic. I would consider these things first...I have a wife/two kids/3rd on the way so I can relate...If you do go FT, then make sure that you have the following:1. No debt. That means ZERO DEBT(including house, etc.)2. A consistent income in poker that you can live on 60% and invest 40% back into poker.3. 12 months of cash reserves when you go on a bad run(we all have them)4. If your cash reserves get down to 6 months, then it is time to get a job again.If you decide to not go FT, you will enjoy the game alot more. Also, you can make alot more money between 8PM-1AM central time. 5 hours = $500 a night for me pretty consistently. But, the bad runs come and go. I am on a good swing right now.If you have your entire history tracked, you may be able to get an investor. Therefore, you risk none of your own money and reap 50% of the rewards. Put together a business plan and seek out investors.Hope this helps.

I play mainly the $30+3 at Full Tilt Poker and I would be willing to bet someone that I can cash in the next 8 out of 10 at that level. If you think you can win 80% of heads up matches, and have it be anything but short term luck, you should really look into studying/understanding odds and statistics. If DN was to play an average player heads up 1000 times, he'd only win 550 times, and that would be a decisive victory, given reasonable blind structure.

I think it would be harder to cash in 8/10 sats than it would be to win 8/10 hu matches. I mean your basic expectancy is 33% to cash in a sat vs 50% to win a hu match??

You can 3/4 people all day long.Imagine this...You have someone calling you while they are drawing dead. It is a beautiful thing. Or the more common thing is they are calling you with the nut low and NO HIGH hand and cannot lay down because they think "gee. I have half the pot." OOOPS nope.
