I know Doyle's first Bible has some names in it, some I have never heard of, does anyone have an updated list to the names for starting hands or even some of the names that you may use for starting hands.Here is one that someone said once: "The Bill and Ted" hand = 69 DUDEWhat you got??

ken warrens book has almost every starting hands names, i really dont feel like writing them all down though, sorry. if you have any special requests ill be happy to post a few, let me know

Hmmm, I remember in Cloutier's book that K9 is called 'old sawmill'. 39 is the SIK, as has been a recent hot posting on here....and 2-7 is called the "dude, what the hell are you doing in this hand" hand.

Not excatly A-8, its more reffered to as dead mans hand if you have aces and 8s

AJo is my favorite hand to say. It needs no nickname. Or whatever+Jo. I just laugh when I get to say "jack-off" at the poker table. I guess I'm really just Beavis at heart.Nikki

j9 of clubs is known as the cloutier. he won a famous pot with it against everett goulsby won he flopped a straight flush against everetts two pair 10s and 7s.
