sonic8 0
I'm headed out to Vegas in 2 weeks and staying at Hard Rock. I've yet to play poker at a casino in vegas. Anybody have any good recommendations for lower limit (2-4, 3-6) games - the closer to the Hard Rock the better. I'm looking for easy games and could care less if its a lousy casino. I've heard Alladin might be a good bet?

semaj550 0
Not that I looked particularly hard but I didn't come across a strip casino that spread less than 4/8 while I was there in late December.
NeedAJoker 0
I work at the Aladdin and I dont believe we have any games below 4-8, as I havnt seen one anywhere else either. But trust me, play 4-8, the people playing it are of the caliber of .5-1.00 online. They are horrible, calling bottom pair to the end with raises all the way, just plain horrible. I watched a 55 year old lady go through 600 dollars in 1.5 hours at the 4-8 Wynn last Tuesday. They are bad, so play those limits if you have the BR to support it.

I never bought in for more than $100 in the 4/8 at Bellagio and I don't think I was ever below about $50. Easy, easy, easy money at these tables.
djradoff 0
When I was there awhile back, the guy to my right was so drunk, that it was impossible not to see his hole cards when I checked mine. The guy to my left thought he would improve his luck, by playing with one hole card face up. I think that pretty much sums it up.
TS Clark 0
The last time I was in Vegas (just a month or so ago), there were numerous places that spread less than 4-8.Excalibur (1-3 and 2-5 spread limit)Aladdin (2-4)Mirage (3-6)MGM (2-4)Orleans (2-4)Luxor (2-4)Those are just the ones I know of (and three of those I've personally played). I'm sure there's more. And all of them are pretty soft (as are, as others in the thread have said, all the 4-8 games I've heard of). The Mirage 3-6 tends to be a little tougher, but it's still plenty beatable. You will simply not believe how much worse live action players are at those limits compared to what you face on the net. The first couple of times I played live, I couldn't believe the hands people chased with and showed down. If anything, it's worse than .50-1 games online.Happy hunting. Nikki_N 17
The excal spreads 1-3 and 2-6 and those games are soft as fluffy pillows.Binions (downtown) spreads a soft 2/4 game.

sonic8 0
Thanks for the recomendations. I found this site out there that gives some decent reviews. This seems to say there are plenty of 2-4 and 3-6 games although I wouldn't mind stepping up to 4-8. Maybe the Rio might be soft with a lot of people running over there to watch the WSOP. http://www.allvegaspoker.com/reviews.php
TheMathProf 0
Bally's was pretty soft (don't remember my locations, though, don't know how close it is to Hard Rock) at the 2-4 level, and they say they spread 3-6 (but never had a game going when I was there). But I'm just a .25/.50 player (usually, now I'm back down nickel-and-diming it). NaturalSelection 0
I've never played a low-limit game in Vegas thet WASN'T soft... just be prepared for some bad beats... Imperial Palace is probably the softest of all... Low-Medium Buy-In No Limit, the softest are Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Bellagio, and AladdinHave Fun!
Socrates 0
Any 1/2 NL game at the Wynn, Excalibur, Alladin and yes, even the Rio with the WSOP. They are the easiest money you will ever make. Just drop $200 in and if you have any skill at all you will make 30-50BB / hr. - This is not a farce. I spent the last 5 days in Vegas and averaged 50bb / hr at the 1/2 NL tables. I even played a 15 hour session on Monday with the same results. 4 of my other friends had the same outcome in their games over the last week.
