It's not that Cubans who fled commies are good while Mexicans who fled poverty are bad.It's that the first wave of Cubans who fled commies were white, thus behave in an entirely different way than non-white people fleeing the 3rd world, ergo one is more desirable than the other since one can integrate into a European founded society while the other cannot. A large part of the reason 'Cuban Miami' looks like this...While Mexico looks like this...Is because the Cubans who 'built' modern Miami looked like thisWhile Mexicans who sneak across the border into this country look like thisand one is very, very different from the other, even though they both Speak their own version of Spanish.
