funkywhiteboy78 0
not sure if this is exactly the right place for this question but i like u guys so here goes.....i logged into my lock poker account today and an update screen popped up. i updated, reinstalled, and poof! now lock sux!!!!!! the graphics are horrible, the interface is slow, my playmoney balance is gone, and my sn comes up "funkywhitebo", the rest does not fit. apparently i need a new online poker home.im not as serious about making money from poker as some of you guys are, but i'm trying like hell to get there. i read a ton of strategy books, all kinds of strategy info on the net, play live tourneys at my local casino, and play a TON of hands online, albeit mostly play money while i try to save up a $500 deposit to plunk down online. my goal is to improve my game and do exactly what alot of you are doing....grinding the micros.so im looking for a new site to play at. in a perfect world it would:1- be US player friendly2-have a good micro stakes game variety-cash, mtt's, sng's, freerolls, etc3-have a variety of games both real and play money as i am starting to learn the other games (omaha, stud, razz, etc...) i'd like to be able to practice these games for free while i learn them while at the same time play hold em microstakes.good traffic during the late evening hours when i can fit most of my playing in.if ANYONE would be willing to give me ANY advice, i'd really be in your debt. if this isn't the appropriate place for this post, i do apologize. thanks alot. CobaltBlue 662
The Lock software now is essentially a skin of Cake's. That said, I've heard reports that they'll be going to Revolution network software soon, so I'd give it a week or so to see how it pans out. That said, there are several Merge sites that sound like they'd continue to be viable options for you. SuperJon 175
What I've heard is that all of the Merge sites are eventually going this route. Not sure if true or not.I don't like the new interface, but I'm wiling to give it some time. I also heard cashouts will be much faster.

SuperJon 175
I've never played real golf before, but I've always firmly believed that I'd be pretty good.I do know that golf and pool actually have a lot in common, especially on the green. So there's a possibility that I wouldn't be that bad.
KingJames 11
Gooooooooooooooooooooooo golf!I think you'd love it based on your love of pool. It's so sick just like poker, too!
CobaltBlue 662
Pool's cheaper and probably less frustrating.

Ninja Ace 1
How to golf:-stick beer / other substances in golf bag-smack ball into woods "unintentionally"-claim that ball you clearly stole from the driving range was expensive and go "hunt for it"-avoid driving cart afterwards... or don't
KingJames 11
Love the oop float, turn over bet and river pot shove bluff, hof! Then this might be too thin, but he's like a 28.24 10% 3b aggro reg... I think he'll have some AJ and AT type hands. Plus I like going for the thin valueHaven't played in like a week, so nice to have a decent session.Had KK < AA in a spot where I feel like it's a fold. But since I'm a payoff wizard now I clicked call. Then I lost a few lol spots to 1/2 stacks, oh wellBinked T9 on 78XX where I dbl barreled and got min-raised on turn, called, J river, I over shove and he snaps it off. Nice to run pure.
