Survived my aces cracked twice, first one I paid off a flush and the other I folded on Q J x x 10 board and he showed the A K. Went to final table with the chip lead, got knocked to short stack by the time we were 5 left, then roared back with good cards to take it down. Not a big event OBV, but good experience for a low-grade enthusiast like me. Also played 10 hours of 1-3NL which was fun and a crazy mix of solid players, bad players, drunk players, tight players, loose players. Good experience at categorizing the opposition and playing accordingly. I broke even and a buddy won $1000.Also played some $50 blackjack to appease our casino host who flew us in gratis ($50 BJ is in their High Limit Room LOL!). Won $350 at that and ran away. Came home with more than I left with, and that's success in my book. Oh yeah, Tunica has absolutely nothing to do but gamble and the food does truly suck. But Binion's Steakhouse in the Horseshoe was actually very good. Go figure. LB at the Grand is supposed to be good too but was closed for renovations. Link to post Share on other sites

Winning a tournament is always fun.Winning at Black Jack and walking away...priceless.Well actually the price is quantifiable, mostly by 'how much you are up' x 'amount you lost last time even though you were up at one point and wanted to just make a little more' divided by the time.Good job man.
