Collusion Or Total Paranoia?

Recommended Posts

...5 minutes later the MGM power went out (it is funny to see the chaos that ensues when a whole casino goes PITCH BLACK) and when it came back on I just picked my their chips up and left.
FYL (fixed your life)
Definitely the way to do it. :D :D They were cheating, no doubt about it. You should havec called the floor and get your chips back. :club:

BB decides to steal on the turn... figures he'll make a bet about half of the small stack, knowing that if you raise, he can fold. When you just call, he obviously senses your weakness, and rather than just calling the raise, moves all in to get you to fold, due to his perception of your weakness, and knowing that just another $42 increases his chance of winning a decent-sized pot.Maybe not the best play, but not at all unreasonable. Accusing someone of collusion based on 1 hand out of many is silly.

Serioulsy against a raise, re-raise and re-raise?This smells as bad as my crotch after working out. They weren't even sly. If you play there regularly I would have said something. If you were on vacation and just having fun, I would have left and found another game.
lol I dunno maybe. . . I havent played 1/2 in a live game for a couple months now so I'd probably play it really loose and Raise the turn heavy. This kind of reminds me of when me and Teddy were at fallsview. I raised the pot pre flop there were 2 calls + Teddy. It gets checked to Teddy OTB who bets out I was te only one who called and we checked it down. I was good with Jack High and everyone at the table was like "Are you kidding me?" We kept making prop bets so I'm sure they assumed we were buddies. Not as suspicious (probably cause we weren't actually conning them), but I woulda thought it was weird when Jack high wins a showdown if I was at the table. This was a 5 / 5 NL game too

as far as i could tell...one time before they had done the "bet half other guys stack....raise and reraise once someone calls" i hhad actually made a mental note of it then...to watch if it happened again.and yes im a nit but dont feel like puttin in 200 more with 3-way action with only TPTK and no 100% proof of collusion yet.and IWANT, you are a tard to the 88th degree

It may be that these guys were friends but that doesn't necessarily constitute collusion. I've seen people make worse plays which cost me pots. If it was bothering me to the point to where I felt uncomfortable with it I'd table change.I'd be very careful of accusing people of collusion. That's a serious charge in my book. I don't think it's correct to accuse these guys of collusion unless you have hardcore evidence and/or specifically heard them talk about each other's hands during play or similar... Even if they did, talk about each others hands during play, I'd just tell them that they can't talk about their hands during play and make sure the dealer acknowledges it as well.

I don't think you can accuse them, until BB says, 'oh I thought I had something else.' What did he think he had??? 64? Did he misread both of his cards? Before he says that it's still very sketchy if you ask me, but a line like that is obviously trying to cover for his already-fairly-obvious collusion.

that was some pretty crazy shizz when the power went out.alot of PISSED off old men at the tables. haha when the emergency lights went back on, the dealer had his arms spread out across the tray so no one could get all feely with his chip tray
