Would be interesting to see what the vibe of the post would be if there was 1 more item:OP kills innocent family heading out for vacation.I don't think we would think that was overly negative or care that he "took down the wednesday". Having said that, in my yute, I drove many times with folks who were high and only by the grace of god am still alive (had some near misses as well).So learn from this one, maybe get a DD next time. there's nothing wrong with smoking weed, but OP should consider that if you are pulled over and on two different occasions they bring in the dogs/strongly suspect you have drugs with you, its probably a matter of time before youre wearing iron bracelets

Other than it's illegal and puts you and other's in jeapoardy when you are operating a 2 ton piece of machinery at 90 mph. I didn't read the Poker content after that, I have no empathy for someone so obiously reckless (sleep deprivation was bad enough).

At about 8 or so on I-10 close to Alabama, **** up, drift over too much, not realizing going 90mph, pulling back too fast, car loses control, not sure if we spun or what, but started at the left lane towards the median, ended up over the right lane, into the grass, slid sideways for probably about 300 ft before coming to a sudden stop from the dirt building up on the right side of the car, miss a tree by about 2 feet.

LOLI obviously expected some negative responses, probably deservingly so.No, I'm highly doubtful the fact that I was high had anything to do with it.The fact that I hadn't slept in over 24h and thought I could keep driving was really stupid, really didn't think I was as tired....And it was 100% alright for the cops to hold us for over 2 hours with pretty much no probably cause.I'm sure it was also alright to **** with me like that the 2nd time, pull me over for no tag light when I don't think that was the reason, and search me within the next 5 minutes. For those curious about the second time, I didn't have much, just pretty much a nug that I was trying to bring back n show my friend, crumbled it up and threw some in the air vent and spread the shit out did whatever I could. My car may have smelled a littleWe did not go back for it at the time... =)Thanks to the people that are glad I'm OK.Most of ya'll need to stop being so quick to judge, just take it for what its worth.oh yea, **** off jkalib

One other interesting part of all this is that there is a potential for a driving while impaired charge due to sleep deprivation in certain parts of the world. So even if no SW, the sleepless thing coulda got ya as well. The scary part is that the worst offenders I guess are the long distance truckers under pressure to make deadlines - would not want one of them coming across the highway.oh well, bin there, done that, I've been asleep on the highway briefly myself in the past when driving home after a long weekend. Try to avoid situations like that now, or just fly.It's funny though how if a male makes to like 25 or so, his life expectancy goes WAY up. Must be a guy thing.

Also, if you don't smoke any weed or use illegal drugs, you wouldn't know this but when your sober a lot like everyday, people who use drugs regularly don't appear to function normally. I think the thing I love most about this story is that in Alabama there are deer hunters right along the freeway.
