serge 904
Waiting for today's picks... I am leaning towards Brian's pick...copied from www.sportswagers.caCOLUMBUS +1.01 over Dallas (Regulation only) PINNACLEThe first thing to note here is that the Stars are absolutely wrongly favored. That alone makes the Jackets worthy of a bet. The Jackets are amongst the most improved teams in the league while the Stars did very little in the off-season to an offense that scratches and claws for every goal they score. The Stars have dropped three of their last four games and in those three losses they scored a total of four goals. Their only win over hat stretch came against the Los Angeles Kings. Meanwhile, the Jackets have played just four games, two at home and two on the road. They’re 2-0 at home and they outscored Anaheim and Phoenix, 7-0. Two home wins, two home shutouts, two near flawless games at home makes this very well-rested Jacket team a very, very live pooch. Play: Columbus +1.01 (Risking 2 units). Zach6668 513
Bob linked me to Brian's page the other day, so I checked it for that. I can only get Columbus at -115, so I dunno if I'll go with that.Does anyone like St. Louis over Chicago at +115?How about the Pens to cover the spread (-1.5) over the Debs at +175? Zach6668 513
Or, on the other side of the Chi-StL game, Chi to cover the 1.5 at +205.
gruven 530
gruven most books local and online include shootout goals for the grand salami bet. A game cant end 2-2 it has to be 5 goals. I will be doing some research all afternoon if something sticks out I will post it here. I have to brag about my baseball futures though taking Clev and Col to meet in the WS before the season ended, one of my greatest best ever.Bet HistoryBet Placed Bet Ref Total Stake Status Type Return (Potential Return) Sport Event / Market / Selection Price Handicap E/W Terms Result 16/10/2007 23:12 BST 128996402 10.00 CAD Won Single 19.09 CAD NHL Hockey Florida @ Montreal Total GoalsUnder -110 -5.5 Won 16/10/2007 23:12 BST 128996401 10.00 CAD Won Single 18.70 CAD NHL Hockey NHL Daily Totals 16th October (4 Games)Total Goals - Grand SalamiUnder -115 -23.5 Won 15/10/2007 18:22 BST 128845899 10.00 CAD Won Single 15.13 CAD NHL Hockey Toronto @ BuffaloPuck Line - Goal HandicapTOR Maple Leafs -195 +1.5 Won 15/10/2007 18:22 BST 128845898 10.00 CAD Lost Single 0.00 CAD NHL Hockey Toronto @ BuffaloMoney Line - Match WinnerTOR Maple Leafs +135 Lost Sportingbet no longer accepts any bets from the US. WestcoastCanuck 0
At betfair.com, you can get CBJ over Dallas at 1.95. I've decided to take that, as well at Nashville over Anaheim at a whopping 2.78 and the under (5.5) for Columbus vs Dallas at 1.69.Betfair is a good site because you are betting against other gamblers, not the house. The lines are constantly changing, if you are patient you can get a good price for almost anything.

Zach6668 513
I think I like the over in the Pit/NJ game.Pens have a high powered offense, and no D. New Jersey's defense isn't nearly as good as it was, and Brodeur hasn't been great this year so far. Their last game, on Saturday, was a 6-5 win vs Atlanta.Over 6.0 for +120 seems decent to me.Does anyone have any thoughts on Chi -1.5 for +205?

pezeveng 207
gruven there was 23 goals in yesterdays board so the GSalami hit. The shootout counts as 1 goal regardless of how many are scored thats what I was trying to say. I usually like the grand salami under as well its a prety solid bet. After all the research Ive done for today all 4 games blow. If I get a degenerate itch come 7 I will probably place 270 on the hawks. Other than that these games are very difficult especiall NJ as we don`t know what kind of team they are anymore.Anyone else like chi btw never take the puckline in hockey its murder to play -1.5 goals. rinswun 6
My bets for the evening:Devils/Penguins: Laid the under (6.5) for a £20 liability @ 1.51 - it pays more than backing the over @ 2.94 for £20. I will take the over on every pens game this year and expect to see a large profit. It doesnt matter what goalie they are facing, this team can put goals on board in bunches so this value is too sick to pass up.Columbus/Dalls: Bet the Jackets moneyline for £20 at 1.98. I have already had some luck backing the Jackets at home against the ducks this year and they are an excellent home team. Hitchcock has this team playing good overall hockey, and they will be looking to make their home their fortress. I like them to improve greatly in the next two years. In that time there should be some good lines available.2/4 so far this year, + £39.
serge 904
Serge supports both of these bets and we hope to cash as well.

rinswun 6
Can you explain what this means for me please?on the site i use (betfair) you can either lay bets (act as the house) or bet (as your normally) would. you decide the odds which you want to offer if you do want to lay the bet, in the same way a a casino or bookmaker would. here i offered up favourable odds on the stars winning, but limited my exposure to the same amount (£20) that i would bet on the blue jackets so that i would make more money if the stars lose. i have explained it really badly but i am a little drunk and tired, maybe pezeveng can do a little better! lol
digitalmonkey 929
I bet the under in the Columbus/Dallas game and the over in the Nashville/Anaheim game.Columbus 1 Dallas 1 less than 3 minutes in...WOOT!
