The Leafs forgot to put a player in the box to serve his penalty at the start, and the whole 5 minutes went by without a whistle, so they never got a chance to put somebody in the box. So they had to kill an additional 1:54 until they could get a whistle. I've literally never seen or heard of that happening in my life. The dumbass anouncers didn't even make a big deal of it. I believe the comment was "It's a 5 minute major so they can't get anyone else out there until there's a whistle." I was yelling at my TV "THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS WHAT IS THIS", this was before I realized that they didn't have a guy in the box serving the penalty. Link to post Share on other sites

Like you can't put a 4th liner who doesn't kill penalties in there? Apparently the Jackets goalie kept coming out to cancel icings so the play would continue on the power play. They just forgot to put somebody in there. what I thought was interesting is that the leaf player clearly shot the puck into the bench to stop the play, which was smart. They only have Matthews (I wanted Marner). Call a couple of stores and they also don't have any Marners So got Otto a Large Matthews for an awesome price of $142 (taxes in). XL were sold out. A bunch of us went down for the Saturday loss. It was a blast since we enjoyed ourselves by making a day out of it. Monday I went down with a buddy of mine. Otto could not go since it is the last week of school. Watching those 3 goals in 43 seconds was amazing. We sat at that corner 17 rows up. Saw each Leafs goal. Link to post Share on other sites

It is quite loud. On Saturday I had the experience of being in the washroom when the leafs scored the 2nd goal. High fiving guys in the washroom.
