Interesting.....what would you do?With 72 Players Left, A Chop Would be Worth 9th-Place MoneyWith 72 players left, there is still $37,866,039 left in the prizepool. If everyone agreed to chop the rest of the money, each player would receive $525,917. By comparison, ninth place is worth $525,934 -- just $17 more. The numbers just get more compelling.

Heh, it's a compelling idea, but you'd never get the pros with a lot of chips (ie, Watkinson, Hanson, etc) to agree to it. Their edge is just too great to have it make sense.

Man, this could be a weak final table if Scotty doesn't make it. Looking over the list, it's pretty mind boggling how few name pros are left. Still some top talent tho of course.

Alaei Doubles Up, Hitting a Miracle Deuce on the RiverDaniel Alaei had his back against the ropes holding {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts} against Stefan Mattsson's {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. Alaei had moved all in before the flop for his last 945,000 and Mattsson made the call. The board filled out {K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, giving Alaei four additional outs to a straight by the turn, but it was the deuce he paired on the river that kept him alive.Alaei stacked up just over two million in chips after the hand, while Mattsson dropped to 3,300,000.Go Danny! :club:

Hevad "Rain" Khan seems like a funny guy. First he uses his chair as a hat :club: then this:The turn and river came {Q-Spades} and {K-Diamonds}, and the animated Khan let out another roar, adding, "I'm good at basketball," to the end of his off-the-wall celebration. :icon_clap:Oh and YEAH, Go Bill! The river was the {J-Spades} giving Banghart two pair, but filling in Edler's flush. It was too little too late for Banghart, who was eliminated in 41st place, but did pick up $237,865 for his efforts. Edler now has 6,350,000 in chips.
