  1. Yeah he lost a couple of close games, I think LT's slow start really helped us! Welcome to the league rollin.
  2. The draft was last year, LT was obv the first pick. I think Brady went in the late 2nd/early 3rd round and Moss was later.
  3. Only if you save it or complete a mission right?
  4. The only "problem" players Dallas has are TO and Pacman. TO has been fine, and I think Pacman will come around. If not, it's a good thing we drafted one of the best CBs in college last year, and got a 2nd round CB talent in the 5th.
  5. I'm pretty sure the BPA theory is well known in the NFL, there just only seem to be a handful of teams (Balt, Indy, SD, NE and Pit) that are able to draft well consistently. Congrats on the good draft, Mayo is going to be a stud.
  6. What exactly is he guilty of? It's funny, in America you're innocent until proven guilty. Why should I be embarrassed? A 4th round pick (a player who may not even make the roster this year) for a top 15 CB in the league? If he stays out of trouble, this is a genius move. If he doesn't, we get a 4/5 rounder back next year, and it doesn't cost us anything in the long run.
  7. There is no way Dallas picks Felix Jones if Stewart is still on the board. Also, I guarantee they will NOT pick a WR in the first round.
  8. From what I've heard about him, he's more of a Tampa-2 style corner, which wouldn't be a good fit for NE. They need somebody who can play man, like DRC and McKelvin. OLB is also a need for them, but they could trade down and still get Brooking.
  9. I would be very happy if Dallas would trade both 1sts to the Patriots to take either of those players. This is going to be an exciting draft.
  10. Isn't he the one who shot Ana Lucia? It's been so long, I am fuzzy on the details.
  11. McKelvin or DRC would be their best bet. Maybe trade down so they can fill CB and LB needs?
  12. I don't think so. We already have Barber, not enough cap space, and Al Davis has been in love with McFadden since last summer.
  13. Is there any way the NFL can force him to sell the team? I don't even understand how he can afford these contracts. Kelly, Hall, Asomugha, Russell, Walker and a #4 this year? I feel sorry for Oakland fans, you guys are going to be in salary cap hell for a long time.
  14. Exactly. It is possible that a change of scenery is what JJ needed, but he was given every opportunity this year after Parcells left to produce. JJ was the one saying that Parcells stifled him and made him run like a robot, and he had the worst YPC average of his career. Our O-line isn't the best run blocking unit in the league, but they are pretty good. He is a fine back-up, but that is far too much money to pay for a change of pace back.
  15. 5.5 IS too much for Julius Jones. There were many FA RB's available this year that were better than JJ. Trust me, nobody wanted JJ to be the next coming of Emmitt Smith more than I did, but he's not. I guarantee you will get sick of not seeing him fight for yards and going down in the backfield every other time he gets the ball. Seattle's best bet was to get Stewart or Mendenhall in the draft.
  16. Julius Jones doesn't do that though. Nobody is afraid of a runner whose legs go dead as soon as he's hit. He's very similar to Morris.
  17. How can they kill Locke? Ben already tried, remember? I think one of the people from the ship will die, hopefully the redhead.
  18. Hall is good, but Al Davis has lost his mind. If he signs Hall to a Clemens/Samuels type of deal he needs to be locked up. Would you rather have Hall or Asomougha(sp?)? There is no way you can afford both.
  19. Then they paid him too much money.
  20. Julius Jones is a decent change-of-pace back, but will not be a #1 for you guys. He goes down at first contact almost every time, and rarely fights for tough yards. He is a good blocker and is dangerous in space though. I predict he doesn't even average 4.0 ypc in Seattle this season.
  21. Where would you rank Favre against other great QBs?
  22. I'm too young to give an educated opinion, but that's a pretty impressive resume. Steve Young should be a 2nd tier QB too, imo.
  23. He definitely belongs in tier 1. I'm a Cowboys fan of course, but agreed that Aikman was a second tier QB.Also, remember that Staubach only started 8 1/2 seasons and that he was a rookie at age 27 because he had to serve 4 years in the Navy.# 1963 Heisman Trophy winner while at Navy.# Elected College Football Hall of Fame in 1981.# Led Dallas to four Super Bowl appearances.# Led Dallas to six NFC Championship games.# Two-time Super Bowl Champion: VI and XII.# Named MVP of Super Bowl VI.# Six-time Pro Bowler: 1971 and 1975-1979.# Five-time All-NFC.# Led NFL in passer rating four times: 1971, 19
  24. I'd agree with your rankings CB, though I think Staubach should be behind Marino (you left him off entirely?!).I liked Favre for the most part, but the ESPN coverage is a little over the top.
