  1. I could wipe the floor with that whole table, except maybe Gus because he is a badass. The only player who occasionally bluffed was Gus...By far the best player at the table. Everyone else was just like check, check. Well I check... fold. lol you got me, you hit your man. What horrible playing. The only reason I watch it is because it is the only poker I get on TV (Basic cable, no ESPN or travel channel)I mean there were so many hands that were poorly played that it makes me sick watching it. Something is off, because that is not how any of them normally would (or should) play. I cant believe s

  3. dude I already sent him pottery lol
  4. As the new year begins, I have decided there are a number of important tasks which must be completed1) I need to sell my poker chips which so I can put the money into my bankroll http://cgi.ebay.com/500-REAL-Clay-Poker-Ch...1QQcmdZViewItem they were originally $550ish from www.sidepot.com but I will sell them to anyone on FCP for $450 shipped. I really need the cash to start over a new bankroll for this year. I Depleted the 06 one on college/xbox/tennis/pokerchips/pokertable/food/computer :(2) I need to get back into the rythm of tournament poker. I netted 15kish in 06 primarily on Ultimatebe
  5. Ive seen apestyles in action. Played against him actually. Hes a friggin maniac. I guess his strategy works well against really tight/bad players, but it doesnt work against anyone who knows what they are doing. (he tried bluffing me like 5 times in an UB tournament around the bubble/ at the FT) Naturally I punished him each timeIf it wasnt for 27% rakeback, id be playing tournaments online again full time like I was before. I made $15k in '06 from the 11pm tournaments on UB, but with 27% rakeback I dont know how I can pass that up
  6. can and have played 24 hours or more before. I don't quit until I lose what is at the table or until I get it back
  7. Nobody ever said it was easy to be a net winning poker player. I know my first year was not a net winning year. But now entering my 3rd year, and completing a very successful second year, I have learned... most likely somewhere during the beginning of the second year... that in order to be successful, you have to be calm, cool, and relaxed always. Being a successful poker player, I feel I am qualified to give you some advice that has helped me. I always think positive. No matter what happens in life, you have to stay positive. The mind is more powerful than the body. You are what is in your he
  8. Im happy to see anyone who is that evil be removed from earth. However, anyone with even the slightest bit of historical knowledge can not categorize Saddam and Hitler together.
  9. should have been crucified but that'll do
  10. -$7,000ish from online poker cash games (Bad bankroll management lol)+ $13000 in tournament poker onlineProbly around -$460 from $90-$270 Casino tournaments (crapshoots) FTd once in 4 tournaments+ a peanut from cash games at the casino+ $730 from cash games at home (.50/.50)+ $300ish at tournament/sng at home
  11. So we are playing a little bit of No Limit Texas Holdem at a "Dealer's choice" cash game (PLO8 and NLH primarily but some Lo8. The kids I play with refuse to play razz or triple draw or any stud high low regular) I bought in for $100 of course. Pocket change stakes, .50/.50 blinds, but thats ok.So i'm dealt A9. On the button, its folded to me. Alan picks up a slice of pizza thankfully. I know at that moment i'm going to have an edge in this hand. So I make a standard raise of $2 more. Alan, thinking he's a wise guy calls. The flop comes Q92 and I make a standard raise of $4. Thinking i'm weak

  14. www.rakebreak.com I make $250 a month JUST from rakebreak, playing $2/$4 ...And they cant steal what isn't yours in the first place. Think about it. What is better, No rake, or Less rake?

  16. I see so much bad omaha advice being given about only drawing to the nuts, and only playing premium strarting hands, so I felt that I had to make a post, which I rarely doMy experience comes from shorthanded play, with about 4-6 players and should only be applied to the situation including 4-6 players but no more. Know when to fold top two pair or bottom set. Shorthanded, it is almost always safe to assume that if you hit any flush draw, or even the second nut straight, that it will be good. I hear a lot of F****** idiots out there who will say "only play the nut hand" Even in doyles book, it
  17. Addicted, degenerate gamblers will do anything to fulfill their obsession with losing money. Id say though, that there will most likely be less donks... but the addicted ones with gambling problems are probably not going anywhere. But thats just IMHO, which is meaningless, since nobody can accurately say what's going to happen!
  18. 2/4 Lo8 on Fulltilt... come on I want to play some FCPers. Id play on FCP but the cashout procedure is incredibly rediculous
  19. here what I have done... Ive never followed correct bankroll managment. Never, not until just recently that is. For example. last week I put on the last $100 I had. I basically have been living paycheck by paycheck, and I just finished buying clothing, books, a $550 set of poker chips, a $450 computer, and Iron Maiden Tickets. I spent MOST of my winnings during the summer on tennis lessons, 2 tennis racquets, some video games, and a lot on going out to eat lol! but now I am going to buckle down and start building my bankroll again. I put $100 on fulltilt a week ago, and now I have $1,200. Just
  20. The same arguement could be made about getting the right odds with an OESD and a suited connecter 3 handed all in pre flop. Just because your getting the odds doesnt mean you have to do it. Unless your a bad player who relies on getting into coinflip or .3333333333333333333333333333333333333333333 situations in order to win tournaments. In tournaments you dont have to make the mathematical plays that you would in a cash game, becuase in a cash game you just re load if you miss your mathematically correct play... but in a tournament, in a hypothetical sitution... if you call off half whole stac
