  1. I'd make a crying call. You're getting 2:1, which is about the right price, as he's about a 2:1 dog to JQ. Even if he raised preflop, it's possible someone call in with JQ.
  2. LOL.Okay, I checked the turn. CO bets $60. What to do next?
  3. Isn't Mike Sexton a pro?Liebert used to be associated with them, but not anymore.
  4. 1/2 NL live.I had 8d9d from SB. CO, who has been relatively tight, raised to $12. I called, and I think 3 callers called behind. Flop was 3c5d6d. I checked, and it was checked to CO, who bets $30. I called, and everyone else folded. Turn was 9h, what should I do? Me and CO have about $200.
  5. There is a distinct possibility that he limped in with 99 from UTG, but it's 50/50 whether he'd jam with 99 after your min re-raise.I think UTG does not want to see the turn, and he is jamming since he had a made hand (re: straight and does not want to see a turn card) or he has a massive draw and he want to get the money in right here and gamble.
  6. I think the first hand was massively misplayed. Should have made a pot-sized bet and take the pot down there. There is no need to build a pot with only an overpair. I would much rather pick up the $30 there and move on.Second hand...I'd call every single tim. If you fold, you're playing with scared money.P.S. the game sounds "yum-yum" and I have PMed you for that game.
  7. How many times did you suck out, mate?Good job on taking it down though. Congrats.
  8. bizarre straddling story (warning: bad beat)1/2 NL. I straddled. First to act raises to 25, two callers to me. Looked down, have KK and go all-in for 124 total. Initial raiser called with QQ, and a guy with T8os tilt-calls just because he was getting 3:1.Flop was Q33. Turn and river were junk.Moral of story: straddling does loosen players up.
  9. Hellmuth is not a that tight. Hellmuth is a real weak player though.
  10. This is such a media overhype. We take his cheating so much to heart because this is our livelihood and ZJ's success is something we strive to acheive. It is the same reason why the public has destroyed Rafael Palmeiro. Palmeiro took steriods, he's a cheater, and the public goes on a witch hunt. Same thing is happening to ZJ. And yes, ZJ was being dishonest and unethical, but also it is against the terms and conditions, just like steroids in baseball, and just like Rafael Palmeiro, whose respect has been lost.
  11. she must have lost at least 10 lbs between WSOP and now. she looks like halloween decoration now.
  12. in this instance, doesn't the guy WANT daniel to call?
  13. wow. flopped a straight and got counterfeited. that's disgusting.
  14. This was nowhere as bad as Alexei Yashin for Zdeno Chara, Bill Muckalt, and the first round pick that turns out to be Jason Spezza. At least the Redden trade wasn't as one sided: Bryan Berard, Don Beaupre and Martin Straka for Damian Rhodes and Wade Redden.
  15. play was fine considering pot sizebutton had the nut flush, BB had KK with king of spades
  16. I don't mind Kaplan's commentary. There are things to learn from hearing what Kaplan says, and his commentary is fairly accurate too.
  17. everyone thinks raymer is making a move all the time? what's up with that
  18. C-R all-in on the flop if he's a maniac. That should be enough to get him off the hand.
  19. shouldn't a hesistant call preflop a red flag in the first place?
  20. ...that was softer than marshmellow. what's self-esteem?
  21. is anyone getting a connection refused problem??EDIT: nvm. it's working now
  22. No Feyenoord jersey is perfectly good. That team is full of evil.
