  1. Daniel, you might want to do something else for your back rather than just put cold on it and pray.I've had all sorts of back problems pretty much the last eight years and have pretty much seen it all. Lately it's just been sore at times (because I had an opration to fix the big problem), but in the past I had a lot of spasms and even had couple of fractures in it too. My back is sore pretty often and everytime when the problem has something to do with the muscles in my back, getting electrocuted is the solution. :-) So here's how it works. You've got four sticky pads wired up which you connec
  2. I didn't even remember Hellmuth can be this entertaining. And sometimes I thought that Fillmaff was overdramatizing... yeah right.
  3. I play eight short-handed NL tables a time. Of course you have to make a little rushed decisions and probably won't be playing as good as you would by only four tabling, but adding three more tables has increased my income pretty nicely, so for me it's +ev.Eight tabling six hours in a row is pretty hard work though.

  5. Good fold man. And I mean it.If I'd be playing (I've got no idea whatsoever why I would be playing, but if I for some reason would) with nearly my whole bankroll at the table, I wouldn't do anything stupid to jeopardize it. Say I'd be in 50/100 NL game with 10k stack - which would be nearly my whole bankroll - I really wouldn't risk it for 2-1 shot. I'd have to have the nuts come showdown to put my whole bankroll in play. I would even fold AA if I was set all-in preflop - just because the other guy COULD flop a set and bust my aces, and my bankroll at the same time. But what are you doing in so
  6. Why bust the whole bankroll if you aren't doing too good in trying to move up limits?I've played 1/2 NL for a couple of months and so far I've beaten them quite easily 4-tabling 40 hours/week. I think I've managed to prove that I can beat the limit and get back on my feet again if my wings dont carry in the next level. So I tried to move up to 2/4 NL, 3-tabled it for four days and then gave up. Lost $5k in the process and decided to get back to the 1/2 NL before losing my whole BR - even though I believe that I just had a bad swing (combined with two tilt plays at the end of that swing). But w
  7. This thread is just pure gold.Online .5/1 NL, one guys limps in with every hand possible. Also calls raises and usually likes to go all-in with 87o etc. preflop, if someone raises all-in. People start wondering what he's doing, and he replies: "Why fold before the flop? You could have the quads." Well yeah, you just might...
  8. Definately +EV for me. But of course people are different.I like to listen to good mood music such as Rush, Shadow Gallery or good mood power metal when I have a bad run or am just playing badly for one reason or another. Helps my nerves just to sing and be positive. When I'm playing good and picking up pots, little more aggressive music comes in play like "Gothenburg metal" or aggressive Finnish stuff. And in MTT's later stages I sometimes play Uriah Heep's Stealin' on repeat. "I was stealing when I should've been buying..." 8-)
  9. I've read people saying how someone "crushes the game". What do they mean by that? Of course they are doing good in that game, but how many bb/h does that mean?Like if I'm making 5 bb/h, am I "crushing the game" or just "doing pretty well" in it? I'm an online NL holdem player and make about 7 bb/h/table (not too big limits, but no micros either), so am I entitled to say that I'm doing pretty well in that game or crushing it?And what's the difference between crushing NL game compared to limit game?
