  3. ESPECIALLY the flush draw part.Internet donkeys will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS chase a flush draw, no matter how high it is, and no matter the odds/situation.ALWAYS.
  4. How come whenever I go into My Profile to put a signature, and switch that button to "Yes" under "Always attach my signature"... it still doesn't work, and then when I go back into my profile, it got switched back to "No" on its own?Thoughts? Opinions? Revelations?
  5. 1/10 of your BR on one SnG seems a lil risky, even if they are easy coughpokerstarscough.Man, do whatever you feel comfortable with... but if you've got 130, build it up to 200ish before you make any sorta jump... seems like you're doing well enough so far.
  6. Is this the post of an underage player or what? not underage player, just not exactly ready to pack it up and move to vegas :-)
  7. I see what you're saying and understand.I didn't watch the interview so I can't really comment on his "up front" plans, but I'll take your word for it.Either way, ignore the flush draw... I'm sure he wouldn't have bluffed if the card didn't bring four to a straight. So while he did have some "up front " plans (apparently) I'm sure he only made then with the intent of bluffing if the turn card made it at least feasible (which it obviously did)
  8. She's a mildly attractive older woman, and a pretty good poker player.Nothing more, nothing less.
  9. Although he never does, this is a perfect example of where I'd love to see DN put in a simple 2-3 word reply just to completely shut up one side of the arguement. Then again, I'd also love to see him intentionally say something like "call with the intent of open-folding the flop", just to see how many people will actually accept that as the proper plan of action.
  10. Surely you understand how important that edit is?[/b]
  11. Why do I always find myself agreeing with this guy? ^ (Smash)Kanter made a TYPICAL play, risky but very sensical... Raymer made a great call with a good hand that made Kanter's play look ridiculous and like he was just "planning on" drawing out with a flush...This was the epitome of a standard semi-bluffing spot for Kanter... it just so happens he got called with less outs than he thought...*edit yknow what, even if he PUTS Raymer on KK, this play isn't bad here... I mean it's far from good, but also far from awful. yes he only has 8 outs (Raymer had the Kh) but fold equity here in the late st
  12. To whoever commented about how many winning players play "against the books and the math"...Against, the books, maybe. Against the math, NEVER.All-in here is the correct play, folding is understandable but in my opinion wrong... unless you're looking to jump up a spot or two and there's some VERY VERY short stacks still in.
  13. Well, congrats to Royal Tour thenas archeramy begins plotting...
  14. $50 says Royal Tour is plotting an incredibly detailed and deliberate assassination plot right about now. 8) lol @ the four alternates... now you guys get to JUST MISS OUT on something incredible... again!Congrats of course, to the winners. Can I call dibs on 5th alternate?
  15. Lost in the bad beat is the GREAT call that Raymer made on the turn where he was still way ahead, on an incredibly scary board. Then again, no one with a 4 would bet out 600k like that, so putting the guy on the overcards/flush draw (brought by the turn)-type semi-bluff, or even a stone cold bluff... probably not the most difficult thing.Oh well!
  16. I like to think that somewhere even Kanter himself let out a "touche" after you typed that.
  17. Hand 20 - Ayhan Alsancak has the button in seat 5, Raymer raises, and Kanter calls. The flop comes 6c-5d-3h, and there's a bet and a call. The turn card is the 7h, Kanter bets $600,000, and the two players are quickly all in. Raymer shows pocket kings (Kd-Kh), and Kanter has Qh-Jh. Kanter has a flush draw, and needs to catch a heart to win the pot. The river card is the 2h, and Kanter makes his flush to double up through Greg Raymer. Kanter's supporters are ecstatic, and cheering loudly, but the rest of the room is nearly silent as crowd-favorite Greg Raymer loses a huge pot. You can distinctl
  18. When you see a dime on the street, do you bend over to pick it up?
  19. I would like to see him lose with quad Aces to a runner runner straight flush, then calmly say "nice hand, sir" shake everyone's hand, give a polite exit interview, sign a few autographs, and walk out of the casino.
