what's going on sat. night @ commerce? i have a league deep stack freeroll ($1800!) starting at 1, but if i bust, i might head on down.

i do fine, but let's just say the expensive restaurants' rake is worse than the casinos'.

two days ago i made my gf an offer: i would sit with her while she plays a $5 ongame SNG and talk to her about leaks in her game while she played. if she didn't cash but listened to what i told her to do, i would give her $5 back. i did this because she is constantly bubbling out of our home game because she doesn't raise or even really play enough hands, folds too many blinds, never steals, and never makes continuation bets after a raise. she is the classic definition of a weak-tight player who is just hoping to make it into the money, gets mad when she waits all night for aces and goes broke

i play cards with a few gay guys here in LA in a home game and some of them can play.however, i still think i'd sign up for ComeOutPoker.com or whatever it's called only because the level of play might be a bit crappier. i don't think gay people are out there thinking, "god DAMN it. if only there was an online poker room that was more accepting of my lifestyle!" but if there ARE people who decide to sign up and play just because the site purportedly caters to that lifestyle, i'm sure they won't have much experience and will probably suck. of course, it won't matter if it's part of a network, w

i really felt like nobles was the worst. the WPT's shows are so edited that we never really saw what got danny to his final table, nor the setups for some of those hands. we know nobles consistently played like a complete and total luckbox donk. i also didn't watch enough of tiffany williamson to know how bad she was, but my money for biggest TV donk is definitely on nobles. this guy was just awful across the board--you could tell just by how he looked at his cards!
