what to do about check/calling idiots ?????
squirrlus replied to Polle67's topic in General Poker Forum
the guy was in the big blind, called your raise, and the third player called the raise too, and since the pot was raised and three people were in, then isn't he getting proper odds to call on the flop with any pair?... there are many situations where i would do the same thing, especially if the game was shorthanded. -

you'd think that if he was really there he'd know that it was event #2. -

i know a few weeks ago there was a discussion om here about Gamboholic_ on partypoker, and i watched him a couple times to see what fuss was about... and of the three sng's i watched (he could very well be a she) i didn't see him play after the flop once, he went all-in before the flop everytime he had a hand, the only time he didn't was when he limped in twice with aces and lost both times... but still won two of the three i watched... so i think this all-in strategy works pretty well, but only in high stakes when people are afraid of losing....

i play sng's at poker room, and i'd have to say they're the best i've played.. but on the $20 and over ones, once it gets to four people everyone becomes a rock and nothing happens until the blinds are so high its a crapshoot, but i guess that's the problem with all sit n go's. personally i think the three table tournaments are the most profitable... unless you constistantly get first place at the single table ones...

was the first one any good? apparently the local nbc affiliate here decided they'd rather show a church service than show poker... so i don't know what it was like or if i'll even get to see one...

i'd say clonie gowen... evelyn's really hot but she has a weird head, so i don't think she'd look better bald... is it weird that i've actually thought about it before now? -
he's pretty good, i know the one guy said he was getting smoked on full tilt, but i saw him start with 5000, and last time i saw he had over 10,000... i don't know if he lost it all... but i doubt he always loses it all... so that seems pretty good to me.
