  1. Is it just me, or does he have an X in one of his combinations in the top right pic?
  2. Gonzo hired Boras as his agent, so I don't see him accepting arbitration. Soriano probably won't either, since he probably gets a multiyear deal as a FA. With everyone involved being a Type A FA, then we lose our first rounder to Boston for Wagner, but gain the first rounders of anyone who signs Gonzo or Soriano.
  3. Nice discount there. His option for 2010 was 12 mil, I think.
  4. The other rookie is Kris Medlen.Campillo was sent to AAA and he opted to become a FA instead.
  5. I don't think we have enough money to land a major bat like Holliday unless we dump Lowe's contract first. The 15 mil we free up there goes a long way to re-signing LaRoche, a closer, and a bat.
  6. QFT. Watched a little of the marathon on SyFy yesterday also. Love me some Marc Singer. And lets not forget Morena Baccarin (that space whore from Firefly). I'm not liking the short hair, but she's still smoking hot. Probably. I'm already trying to predict what sort of shitty reality show will take it's place.
  7. Is there any announcer more annoying than Gary Danielson? Every time I watch a game on CBS, I have to mute it because of that idiot.
  8. Lisa a few seasons ago somehow backed into the final three. She escaped elimination in a challenge that saw her put shrimp through two cooking processess and still have them come out undercooked. She also survived restaurant wars when both dishes she was responsible for were awful, and head chef Dale put out one good and one awful dish. She was on the chopping block for something like 5 straight episodes (including final four) and still made it through.
  9. From what I can remember from the behind the scenes episode, it was said that there's 10-20 minutes between the first reveal of the secret ingredient to the start of the time limit. They film the reveal from mutliple angles and also give the chefs time to start.
  10. My wife graduated from there and can't stand the fact that her team is first in their division and mine is second in the country.
  11. What's your definition of bad in this case? I think Ilan was the "bad" guy of season 2 much more so than Marcel.
  12. Which are offset by stretches where Mark Ingram looks like the Heisman frontrunner.I fully expect McElroy to to turn it around, though. He seems to have a good grasp of where he's making his mistakes.
  13. 2.5 back from the WC with 8 to play. One more in Washington, than Florida x 3 and Washington x 4 at home to end it. Going 6-2 gets us to 90 wins and an outside chance.
  14. Typical of the year so far. The starting pitching was good enough to keep us in the game, but no hitting and a rough outing from the pen cost us.We've got Lowe/JJ/Vazquez/Kris Medlen going in this series vs. Colorado, so we should get back on the right track.
  15. 6-2 on the road trip and a big win over the DBacks tonight. With the Mets on their way to losing, we could be 1 game out when the night is over.
  16. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30720344/?GT1=43001
  17. I'm headed up to see them in June vs Boston.
  18. Only two games back thanks to Florida's current slide. The hitting is going to be streaky all year, but this is a rotation that can keep us in most games.
  19. Did you expect anything more out of Al Davis?
  20. Florida makes sense, actually. I was almost 100% positive on Arizona, though. Who did I forget?
  21. The first two that come to mind are Arizona and Washington.
  22. Is it wrong that I can't mention a chicken sandwich without saying the name Carl afterwards?
  23. There goes that plan. Jurrjenns pitched a great game and it's a tough loss to take thanks to that absolutely disgusting display of "offense".
  24. That was an awful series. We better turn it around with a sweep in Pittsburgh.
