Not picking sides here, but one angle not given proper consideration is the value of a pro's time. 1 10k circuit event is about a 48 hour time commitment, 47 online MTT would be about 376 hours, that is a huge difference and probably the reason why more pros don't playthe big MTTs regularly.

I also watched all 3 matches, and I am left wondering if DN didn't use the cheap $5000 matches to DONK of some money and advertise in preparation for DC. I noticed a very drastic change in style when the DC match finally arrived. Hard to tell for sure without seeing many of the hands DN was holding on showdown in the first 2 matches, but if it is the case, nice work DN, that is some masterful strategizing.

I played a lot of 1-1 2-2 NL on PR a few months back, definitely donkalicious, I ended up stopping because of incredible swings, I think the last day I played I got sucked out on by miserable hands 6 or 7 times in a row, putting a large dent in the bankroll. I am starting to play again since FCP started and am having some success at the same levels again ... other than losing $225 with KK to AA last night :roll:

My favourite is MGM during the day, then Bellagio after midnight, all the regulars seem to be done for the day, and all the rich drunk tourists come out ... I have been in some JUICY 2/5 games at the Bellagio ... people giving tells a blind monkey could pick up on.

Not a misclick, but a dropped connection at the final table of the US Daily on Pokerroom ($3400 for 1st place) Guy with a med stack pushes UTG with JJ, I had KK and could not call as my connection dropped, chip leader in BB called with AQ, Q high board won it ... I ended up in 7th shortly thereafter, that pot would have put me in a commanding chip lead.

I went the other way, a couple tough hands, top pair ran into a set and chased a nut flush draw for the right price but didn't hit, sitting at 6k.with 10k in starting chips it takes an uber-donk (or bad beat) to go out in first hour)

I was at 14k at the break, had AA cracked, but got out relatively unscathed and sitting at 10.7k, table Kalamazoo

Not dissapointed, just surprised ... I guess I will be the one to point it out again, this is not an FCP rule, you keep bashing FCP and DN, this is a Poker Network rule which FCP joined. It was also a Poker Network rule to not allow alias changes, and based on this forum's feedback, FCP moved quickly and maded that change happen, so if you are patient and state your concern to the FCP team without whinging and whining, maybe this rule will also be changed.
