  1. i say location altitude.....
  2. i don't think she's an actual shapeshifter. i think she's more the "stryker's son in xmen 2" kinda powers of mentally changing the surroundings for those around her. part of that is her being seen as whoever she wants to be, but i don't think she actually changes physically. that's why simone's body was gone. because she changed what they were seeing.
  3. i would also be curious as to how to go about that.
  4. this is, without a doubt, one of the funnier threads i've read on this site. then i think to myself, "do i have a right to be laughing?"and then i hate myself for not considering the bigger picture.damn you, 11 to 1. damn you.
  5. does this mean there's an AHL spot opening soon as well? where do i put my application?
  6. well so far all of the spoilers from television without pity are correct. for all who want to see it, according to the same list, the results are.....final three winner: i'm done watching it without rob and amber as well.
  7. rumor is that a deal to stay in pittsburgh is close to being done. mind you, this rumor is from hockeybuzz, so take that as you will. but also consider it's not an eklund rumor, but from the guy who actually lives in pittsburgh and covers the pens.
  8. meh. not a bad episode by any means, but nothing memorable. except for sawyer's "jumbrtron" comment to hurley.
  9. hated napoleon dynamite, loved shaun of the dead. can't wait for hot fuzz.when i saw anchorman in the theatres, i thought it was one of the worst movies i'd ever seen. absolutely hated it.about a year later when i watched it at a buddy's house, i couldn't stop laughing. love that movie now. not sure why i hated it at first......guess it just took time to appreciate the humor.

then you're nuts. the islanders and hurricanes are taking the last two spots. habs and leafs are on the outside looking in.
  11. they do that for pretty much all the oiler retirements. kurri came out and took a pass from a street-clothed gretzky and went in on a breakaway on no goalie. fuhr actually came out in full goalie equipment. i think it's goofy, but oh well.smyth isn't re-signing on canada day. no chance.
  12. i'm very curious about that as well. the hatian obviously didn't have that power last episode, so i'm curious as to how he, or someone/something, kept sylar from killing eden before he was caught. or a few other instances, like parkman not being able to read HRG's mind on a couple of occasions. definitely needs explaining.what an episode though. i was a passive heroes fan before monday. but even with some confusing questions, that episode made me a nut for the show.
  13. jj abrams directing tonight. looking forward to it (as always)
  14. worked for me. made me laugh the entire, ridiculous time.
  15. unfortunately for us flames fans, smid's gonna be a stud.matt greene on the other hand........
  16. If erections are a gift from the Lord, this naturally raises the question, Is it OK for Christians to take Viagra?if erections are a gift from the lord, then that guy gives me alot of gifts. particularly in the morning, when it makes is tough to take a piss.that whole site is fantastic.erectile dysfunction, viagra, and god's will.....Our Heavenly Father has promised us “I will make you as firm as a rock, as hard as a diamond,”
  17. tonight's episode directed by joss whedon, next week by jj abrams. really looking forward to both.
  18. feel the same way. really enjoyed this episode. not sure if it was a flashback or what, but the old lady from the others was good and the last conversation with charlie was great. desmond is an interesting character. hope we learn more about him.
  19. the gaps in between so many episodes this year makes it feel disjointed. the shows have been great, but i want them every week, not just when fox isn't running additional american idol slots. it's ridiculous.really enjoyed the house/wilson time this week. that whole relationship is as interesting to me as the house/cuddy one.
  20. but thorton is a whole different level, just because the bruins didn't have to trade him. he didn't request a trade. the bruins just jumped at the first offer, and got no futures in the deal. no picks, no prospects, just 3 players. thorton was it's own category for bad trades.
  21. he was given 16-18 minutes a night on a line with lombardi and huselius/tanguay. he was given plenty of opportunity and just couldn't bury the puck this year.
  22. but if he's workin hard, nagy could prove to be a hell of a pickup. but yeah, that is a big big price to pay for a UFA having a bad year.
  23. well judging by yesterday's game in detroit (god was that ugly, so don't read too much into it), phaneuf and hamrlik will stay together, as i would expect because if you've seen play without hammer this year, you'd see that dion isn't nearly as good without roman there. hamrlik still had the 2nd most pp time for a dman behind dion, and stuart was paired with regher. that could have been because warrner was scratched, either due to injury or CD. stuart will get some decent minutes on the pp when he gets used to the system and such.the pick is a 4th rounder. boston would have had to be just
